Anavar is a lean mass builder - whether you use it offseason or precontest it does (or attempts to do) the same thing. 10mg ed is a good dose and the bonus is you have experience with that, so you know what to expect in terms of how your body will react to it.
There are many, many different ways you can go with this - for the type of look that does well in national level figure shows, I'm not sure that much more is required. I would definitely lean toward the 'less is more' school of thought, and be patient while eating and lifting appropriately for your offseason regimen.
Since you asked - and this is not a recommendation - if you were to proceed beyond just 10mg anavar ed, you could increase the dosage (15-20mg would be a good upper limit), try Winstrol (harsher, more potential for side effects), or look into low dosage injectibles. Anavar and Winstrol have a half-life of approximately 9 hours (and thus clear the system quickly should you want to cease the protocol). The half-life of an injectible can range from 2-3 days up to 16 days or longer - so if you investigate that route, it's important to learn as much about the compound as possible. Obviously, a shorter half-life is preferred. Many women use compounds with longer half-lifes and have great success, others have tried and regretted it. Any way you slice it, you are conducting a chemistry experiment on yourself - read about the possible side effects, assume you will get the worst of all of them, and consider yourself fortunate if it doesn't turn out that bad.
As far as injectibles go, NPP (nandrolone phenyl-propionate, short acting) and Equipoise (boldenone, long acting) are typically tolerated well by women (relatively speaking). If you were to research any compounds, I'd start there.
