how about the college/university selection in calgary?

nightlife and shit isnt very important to uis,
we just want a nice city, nice people, not bad traffic, decent cost of living, good schools and a decent job market, or tech market since he can make alot more money than me

If thats what you're after then Calgary is good for you.
There is UofC, Mount Royal College and SAIT (Technical school). Also the Alberta College of Art.

cost of living is not bad for 900K (the oil/economy thing is bang on too bullit)

van is cool except it rains all winter... calgary at least gets chinooks all the time and the cold is dry so it's bearable.

Barely enforced. We've walked down all the main streets drinking shine and smoking and never had a problem. Even if you get pulled over, they won't do fuck all. They might try to steal it for themselves, but then you tell them to look over there and run away.
