A wax for coarse hair?

My bikini area is very hard to wax, and nothing I can find at Walgreens et al. will work on me. Does anyone here wax at home, and if you do can you share what products you use?

I use the Surgi-wax Brazilian. You can find it at Wal-mart or Ride-Aid. Its not that sugary thing that you have to take out with muslins - its actualy real wax. Its awsome!!!
One more thing - you have to trim your hair first if you want more success and less pain

Thanks, I stay trimmed so that won't be a problem. Does it work well on the happy trail too?

works everywhere, I wax it all off. It has oil in the package that you have to apply before epilation. It just hurts so bad when you get near your most sensitive spots, be carefull

I use the GiGi waxes. I use it with the warmer. I used to get wazed at a spa and it's the same wax and warmer they use. My boyfriend waxes me, now. H

I don't know if you have the same things as we do over here, but there are lots of different 'cold wax' strips available which are supposedly specifically for the bikini area . . . I'd stay away from these as the wax more often than not just sticks to your skin and the strips peel away, leaving you with a rather fetching patch of green wax stuck to you! Or maybe I'm just being stupid and doing something wrong :)

I'd say go for something you warm up rather than the cold stuff.
