I have lost some body fat ~ 3% yet my lower abdomen is poochie. Not to sure what it is...from the front I look good, but from the side i look like I have a fupus...okay it's not that big, but it's noticeable. I know nobody's stomach is ever flat, but do any of you get like that? I am about 19% right now. Maybe too many carbs?...or too much salt?...or not enought of something. :worried:

OOO the same problem, from the front I look OK but from the side..o my god is not too big but I hate it. This problem I try to solve long long time, I have crazy diets but nothing, everybody writte me now you must gain muscle you are skinny but my stomach I hate. I have 108 lb 5'6" and I still want lost fat in this area but nothing doesn't work. Someone told me that is maybe problem genetic, but I think that is littel bit fat in this area, and this is maybe cause of poochy lower abs.
I think that someone writte you some advice.

In my travels, LOL, I've noticed that a lot of women (skinny, etc) have the little poochy lower stomach. I've read all kinds of things cause that -- retaining water, stress, etc

It's one of those annoying female traits I guess....

do you know about it something more? how can we get rid it???

Well, I think it can be hard.....I have noticed that liposuction does not reduce it either....so, what is the cause and effect??

Dairy = bloating
Stress = bloating
Retaining water = bloating
Wheat, could = bloating
Allergies, could = bloating

There's a lot to isolate......you could just have genectically abs that "stick out." Could be any number of things......I, unfortuneately don't have an answer.....

figured it was just the way my body is made...but at least I have definition...not as bad :(

Yeah, me too -- I just can't get the "perfectly flat" look....

Keep in mind we have 'extra parts' there that men don't have. The body's natural response is to protect them so you will more than likely see a slight pooch until you get your body fat closer to 10% (which isn't really healthy for women). Cutting back on foods and drinks that cause bloating might help some. I've had the same thing for years. It's a bit annoying to look at sometimes, but the rest of my stomach looks fine so I'm not too worried about it.

Aw man - Peanut Butter makes my stomach giant!!! I don't know what it is about the PB, but my stomach gets huge from it! I can get my stomach totally flat - but the only way I can do it is from not eating for like 10 hours straight. Not real fun or healthy!! But I'll do it every now and then if I'm going to a club and want to wear something to show the abs.
