Hey everyone! .. SO i was all excited for YPT this morning I almost missed it, up at 645, gym by 7 ... to get a note that my lady wouldn't make it! I left all my gym stuff back at the house .. my workout was 10 min 30 sec warm up on LF Elliptical, then i walked around the gym and tried to figure out what I wanted to do, aimlessly.. did 1 set of light squats then left lol :rolleyes:

Weird morning, wish I were in bed!

I "tried" close grips on Monday on a hammer Incline press and actually loved it. I just finished them off doing a strip down. Pretty cool. I have done them getting read for a meet but this was a tad different. I liked it.

Hammer incline press, like the machine? I have never done close grip on anything but the OLY bar, for the machine I just grip where feels comfortable. My close grip/elbows in is like my personal standard grip.

I missed a meal today, it shows... 27 g of those were from carbs, 66g of those were from 3 granny smith apples.. those are really helping with my sweet tooth.

I cooked all my chicken in EVOO to help get more fat in so I dont have to eat nuts or PB ... Protein is LOWWWWWWWWW but I cannot stomach anymore of anything today.

Cravings have been wicked bad, but I am determined NOT to cheat danggit!!!

I started reading your log today...and wow there's so much! It is very pretty by the way, with all of the colours and everything. Much of the stuff in it is still pretty foreign to me, like the terminology, but I will get the hang of it. You're definitely a great example for all us, keep up the good work and stay away from those cravings!....as they say on the pro-anorexia sites...just go paint your nails, twice! (what horrible advice) lol. Anyways I just wanted to let you know that I'll be reading from now on. :)

Not trying to be a smart ass, but why do you think the cravings are wicked bad? I know when I have cravings, there's usually a reason (e.g. not enough total cals, not enough fat etc.) Sometimes it helps to understand the cravings to deal with them, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

:) Hi RT. Well, because they are emotional & stress related. I am trying to deal with them without stuffing my face or comfort eating. :) Your point is valid for the majority of other people with these issues though for sure.

It's also a pain in the ass to brush, floss & rinse every 2-3 hours after a meal, OR if I want to drink something OTHER than water (crystal light or diet soda, i.e. invisalign), at work no less, this is the busiest & most stressful time of year here so any added crap really is not welcome. I am beyond frustrated with everything so it becomes very easy for me to easy something I want then not eat for another 5-6 hours.

I like you being a smart ass :D and feel free to throw anything out there at any time. Sound advice woman. :heart:

You like "smart ass" people yah??? Well, I'm here! J/K You are doing great! Keep your head on straight and if you must eat something, think about it before you do. Don't miss those meals! It just makes it harder to fight through the cravings. Maybe you should add another meal in somewere?? If you plan it out you could keep cals. etc. around the same and feel like your eating more. Good luck and we all got your back girl!! :)

I like ROONY when she's a smart ass... I wouldn't say 'people'.. that type if behavior is a turn off to me usually, with FEW exceptions.

Thank you for the post FF. The cravings are for mexican, pasta, icecream, wine, greasy bar food, BEER, and I dont drink beer ... et or I want to sit home & drink my wine & be in peace... I am force feeding what I do eat since the cravings are for OTHER foods I cannot have.

Everything is a MESS and only I can pick up the pieces.. I'm working on it one hour at a time. Thanks for the support, I appreciate it.

That last meal Roony has every night is really good, might help out with your sweet tooth craving a little bit :) Or just some protein blended with berries makes kind of a sorbet/slush type deal... pretty good for handling the ice cream cravings :p

Do you mean the pumpkin? Only way I eat pumpkin is in pie form with lots of whipped cream :D
I think coldstone would kill the craving. :D I also have this habit of overeating CLEAN food that tastes too good, there really isn't any inbetween so I make myself suffer .. guilty.

Your protein & berry idea is my usual PWO shake :) Wonder if I froze it, or used milk.

Hmmmm well you haven't tried our pumpkin pancakes yet :chomp: And the "frosting" T came up with for them puts whipped cream to shame any day LOL and I love whip cream too ;)

Here's the dilly-o ... Im cutting, no unhealthy refeeds and minimal alcohol, once a week IF that , wine with dinner... Trying to keep weekly refeed limited to red meat & increased portions of things I usually would eat, maybe a huge tato and extra serving of brown rice etc... kinda like how I did when I ran the project diet. I responded SO WELL and lost all taste for any crap, testing it again. I have to be at a certain point in Jan before I take my little break then start up for pre comp logging and stuff. :) It'll make a little sense in time, trust me :rose:

You are right on with your diet advice roony. I love it! :D

Workout - about a 7 or 8, this is high because I was sweating and every rep, with the supers felt like failure I really had to push myself … 7 b/c mentally I like to lift heavier, 8 b/c the light weights kicked my ass and the PWO cardio on the step mill was HARD … I also had two pairs of pants on and applies YES post shower shave exfoliation and I was on fire the entire time… yowza…

Mood - Better, but I’m not at work yet LOL :evil:

NICE workout :D I remember those early mornings on the step mill doing that same thing, and wondering where that helmet was you were suppose to send too when I was almost biting the dust from being too tired :lmao:

Im not even doing my drops anymore, just steady state killed me lol (i was studying as usual but put down the writing utensil as I make the trainers nervous already).. helmet hahahaha.

Thanks duck, you too... work is going to be tough for quite a long time, not getting any better, I need the + vibes so thank you, really...

LOL yes it sure it! My CV endurance went OUT THE DOOR ... well, I can still handle sprints.. running a mile in 10 min. a different story

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had 8oz Filet (looked the the petite though :evil: and I wanted a 12oz Tbone or 14 oz hunk of meat but I settled) with veggies & au gratin tatoes... :) 2 glasses of wine. :) oh and a little of the harvest grain bread they brought out.
Misc salad bar stuff & I rarely EVER eat buffet style food.

I always weigh myself to keep me honest too and same experience as you post cheat for me this morning too - scale barely moved and stomach pretty darn flat. Only difference is I'm always ready to go shopping :lmao:

Oh yeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh I would say that is some good food :p :chomp: I think I would have to trade the snow caps for a symphony or heath bar or maybe some chocolate covered cashews though LOL then I would be all set :)

LOL if I was as lean as Im going to be come this summer, Im sure Id have a different opinion on that :) Oh, and Im sure shopping with you would be an experience. :D

I forgot what it was like to be happy after looking at the scale ... I guess when I started using it the way I should be, things changed.. imagine that. :)

Yes you are lol ... but so am I so we cancel each other out...

I did not ENJOY working in retail at all... holiday shoppers around here are mean, it's not even fun or worth my time at all anymore, sad but true. :whatever:

Lucky for him he didnt have his usual stash of hersey bars in the freezer.. those woulda been GONE. I cannot believe I was buzzed off 2 glasses of wine, at a rest. no less where the glasses are 3.5-4 oz. Interesting lol

I always try to be extra nice & patient at this time of year, 'cause I know what the customers are like. There was a girl the other day at future shop, looked like she was about to cry. I took my time with her, didn't rush her & was pleasant & solicitous. She was smiling by the time I was done. I hope she survived.

I am the SAME way. You are such a great man! Im sure you did make her day a little better. My co-worker (currently) is a sensitive one, when she did PT at Kohls for the holidays she did cry, the shoppers, wow, can they be evil...

I worked in retail for many years too, but I still loved working it around christmas time. The people that are abusive to the workers, I just chaulked it up to them having a bad day, there is no excuse for it but it happens, that is when I would be so nice to them they felt like idiots after....

Welcome back. :wavey: I don't know HOW I was so dedicated before with the YES ... such a chore and don't miss that feeling, esp when it's kinda chilly :) Have to tweak mindset.. I think when school starts and after my break in Jan when I get to comp mindset, things will be a little bit more focused... *fingers crossed* ... don't cross the toes, that kind creeps me out :D
 
I am so proud of myself, I hung all of my clothes up, and that takes about 2 hours lol :) Next on the list is to clean the entire house sometime soon... clothes is the part I save for last b/c I cannot usually stand it , so I did it 1st to get it out of the way.

On another note, my current ipod, the nano I won from here says 'corrupt' ... my old one also froze and wont work... Have to restore it & hope for the best... think I love only about 50 or so songs .

Bummer.

Good job hanging up your clothes, that is my hubby's job and he is always behind LOL. My cleaning ladies are coming tomorrow. and I just bought 3 mps players (hubby and two boys) and I have NO idea how they work, this should be interesting LOL. Believe it or not, I am the most computer literate in my house hold, though my son is catching up to me already :)

I have a friend who is an ebay freak. He bought 2, 4gb ipod clones from Hong Kong, for $70.00 ea.. These ones are identical in function to an ipod, except they also have an FM radio. Not quite as refined in aesthetics, but if they work, that's great.

what is a y.e.s. bath; does it have any special purpose or is it for an extra enjoyable bath?...and why don't you like them anymore?
p.s - good job on getting everything cleaned up! I'm packing everything up to move in January so I had to take all my neatly hung clothes OFF the hangers lol.

It's a joke about a topical fat burning product, wish we had it in bath tub size, etc. I would apply it daily, 2 x a day usually in the am & pm, I'd shower & shave before every application for maxiaml absorption & it worked IMO at least 10 x better than regular application. I wanted my money's worth & I got it.. very time consuming but like I said I was dedicated to my initial goal of getting all the fat I could off. :)

My clothes pile up FAST ... When I AM PM train it's worse .. Need to snap outta this phase.

I'm still laughing about your YES comments from yesterday and how you don't miss the feeling of it especially on "chillier" days! :FRlol: Believe me, I KNOW! I'm happy to finally live in a warm climate where there isn't a 20-degree wind chill chasing me in to the gym at 5am in the dead of winter!

THAT is a feeling we can all do without -- but yes, I am certain the Yohimburn smoothed out a great deal of my own cellulite too. Well worth it... but you're "off" it for now?! LUCKY! :) I'm still lotion and potion girl. :qt:
