I would say that men are more likely to tell the truth on a study about adultery than women are... how many of us have encountered a woman who's slept with say, 10 guys...tells us 5...later we find out it's 10, and she says: "Well, the other 5 "didn't count."

LOL yea that's fucking sick. I was with this girl once who is like i've only been with a few guys but now I know she has fucked just way too many people. Even to this day she is my friend and if I ask her how many guys she has been with, she will say 4 ... but that number has stayed the same in the last year and I know for sure she has been with way more than 4 in just the last year.

I am almost 20, I have been with someone 15 years older than me for the last 7months and we basically live together. I would never cheat on her cause I am not weak and insecure. I would marry her in a heartbeat if I had enough money to support her through a marriage.

By the way, you calm down, don't justify your weakness and insecurities. Age has very little to do with it. I understand temptation, but if you get tempted go finger yourself not cheat on him.

I agree with Patsfan that marriage will/should be a thing of the past because let's face it, the institution of marriage does not work..you see it all around you. Divorce rate is 75%. Even the ones who stay married doesn't necessarily mean they're happy.
I know lots of miserable married couples who just put up with each other.
Botton line, we are not monogamous creatures(moreso with guys), and we are constantly fighting with ourselves (what we perceive) to do the right thing by making a marriage work.
Once we realize it's too much effort and the sex life is not what it once was, people throw in the towel.
