Have you overlooked the possibility that your experience of socialization, defined largely by your experience as a college kid and bouncer, might be seriously limited?
Do you think it's possible you haven't "seen it all"? Or that you;ve seen just a tiny fraction of it?
Have you considered the possibility that the universe of human interaction is much bigger than what you've been involved with?
