it's called a "run line"
and almost all internet betting sites will post a run line odds along with the typical
just win money line
you have to think more
if you're uncomfortable with a run line
then just don't bet

I've been doing it for some MLB events for quite some time now, and it's not my fault you didn't see it. Plus all you Yankee/Red Sox faithfuls are getting better odds on your teams....usually 91/100 instead of 60/100.

I dont mind the spread...its just that I thought it meant the Yanks would win by less than 1.5 (-1.5).

Just goes to show most of my actual gambling is confined to poker.
