8 pounds in 10 days??

Okay well i started at 142 pounds, and now 10 days later from when i started my bulking diet im at 150. I've been keeping to my diet and training...
But 8 pounds in 10 days??? That must be an awful lot of fat
Is it normal to be gaining that much so quickely?
 
If you return to normal eating instead of your bulking style, you will lose some of the weight.

Some of it is water and alot of it is probably food in the intestine, (the intestine can hold up to 7-8Ib of food at any given time)
 
Its a big gain but some may be water weight maybe some is fat, but i wouldn't count on it..

When I first started as a teen couple years ago, i think at 169lbs.. my first time eating properly while lifting I gained roughly 3lbs a week and got to 184lbs in no more than 6,7 weeks..slowed down from there...its was alot but seemed to be quality, est. 2% change in b/f%.
