6 meals a day... what to eat?

Alrighty fellas, I took a break off from my training for baseball, but I'm back and ready for more!

I'd like to consume 3000 - 4000 calories a day, and keep a fast metabolism. To achieve this, I'd like to eat 6 or so meals a day. Right now, I weight 185 pound, and am 6', I don't want to loose weight. I'd like to maintain my weight, and with my training, it might be pretty hard as it involves quite a bit of sprints, I gotta consume the cals!

What's yalls advise for 6 small meals a day, I want high protein foods here. I'd rather not pay out the ass for expensive protein bars either, so stuff that you'd buy at your average grocery store is what I'm looking for!

Thanks yall, I like eggs btw!

Well eggs are a good start! Eat like 10 whites at a time. I like beans and brown rice with chicken and salsa mixed in. A new thing i've been trying is portabella mushrooms. Gonna grill a bunch up tomorrow and mix them up with lean ground turkey. Lots of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, carrots, etc.) 1% or 2% Cottage cheese is great for protein and carbs. Shakes and protein bars are cheap in my book. I go through bags of veggies and meat like crazy...I'm back at the store ever few days restocking. Check out the stickies on proper diet, tons of info there.

Protein - meats. Fish, poultry, live stock and human flesh

Carbs - brown rice, sweet potato then pastas etc

Some good oils - fresh nuts no roasted shit or buy in oil form

And some good greens as already mentioned

Which you know all this already!

Add in some shakes and bam!

6 meals a day is mostly recommended by many trainers as well as dieticians which involves small meals during an interval of 3 hours. So start eating bananas, egg whites and milk in the morning, After 3 hours, consume handful of dried fruits that includes, almonds, cashew nuts, raisins, etc. Take a light meal during lunch but full of nutrition. Again after 3 hours, consume some fruits or whatever light you can eat. After this take a break of 2 or 3 hours and consume milk or egg whites. Later in the dinner, you can eat rice, chicken, fish, etc. Try this and see the results in few weeks.
