500mg of test for 10-12 weeks safe for a first cycle

Hey guys,


I was just curious as to why many boards say to start off with 500mg of test for 10-12 weeks since in anabolics editions (especially 2006) it gives example cycles that are very low such as test enanthate at 250mg a week stacked with eq at 250mg a week for a total of 10 weeks. I know the author's main concern in on safety; however, he insisted with the right nutrition, attitude, and training a newbie would produce dramatic results on the cycles listed.

I know one of my former trainers who only took 20mg of dianabol(maybe 25 i can't remember exactly but it was very low) along with 250 mg of deca for 8 weeks and went from 160-205 and dropped down to 185 lean after the cycle without pct (since pct didn't exist during his time). He is also short at around 5'6 and could squat and dead over 315 for 10-12 reps 3-4 sets before juicing too.

Also, didn't mick hart put his son on low dosages of sustanon and deca at 250 a piece for 8 weeks and he put on around 35-40 pounds that he kept in two cycles...

So I was interested in hearing guys thoughts on how much is actually needed to grow safely for a "recreational bodybuiler" and shouldn't 8 weeks be the max for a cycle if using over 500mg of test or using dianabol since the amound of stress being put on the organs and also in the long run too.

I just find this interesting since I see guys who can put on 20+ pounds on just 250mg of test a week for 8 weeks for a first cycle as compared to many guys putting only 15-20 at 500mg and then losing alot after pct... Is training and nutrition lacking ?
Given the guys using low dosages I know are financially blessed where they don't have to work currently and eat and go to the gym all day with their trainers.
 
Test E at 500mg per week (in two 250 shots--one on Sunday, one on Thursday) for 12 weeks would be a great first cycle.

Have your PCT ready to go. Might want to use 12.5mg of Aromasin ED during the cycle to keep down bloat.

My point and question I was trying to get across was if 500mg of test is necessary for a first cycle for an individual who is a "recreational bodybuilder" and not a pro and should it be run longer than 8 weeks ( since its proven to be very hard on the body after 8 weeks and over 500mg) Since itsn't diet and nutrition the most important and if that is key shouldn't someone on just 250mg a week of say sustanon or enanthate gain 15+ pounds on their first cycle with a good possibility of having no side effects during the cycle and later on in life ?

Couldn't someone use 200mg of eq/or deca stacked with 250mg of test and get the same results with minimal side effects and hardly being harsh on the organs for a first cycle?
 
A lot depends on where you are when you start. If someone at 6'2" weighing 120 pounds runs a cycle then huge gains are likely with a good diet and half-decent training since he was almost certainly under-nourished and basically untrained.

If someone waits and builds himself up to 250 or 260 before starting a cycle then only relatively small gains are likely since he is already close to his natural limits and already very well-trained.

Given the guys using low dosages I know are financially blessed where they don't have to work currently and eat and go to the gym all day with their trainers.

My guess would be since your combining both Test and Eq you wouldn't need as high a dose as if using test alone.
 
You can pack on lean mass with just ten weeks at 250mgs.
I am a big believer in using as little as you need to reach your goals.
I get better results clean (with low test) then guys at my gym on a gram a week get.
Its all what you eat!
 
That's prolly the best FIRST cycle you could run. IMO.

Toss in 30 mg Dbol/ ED for 4 weeks to kick it off until Test kicks in. (a month)

(OPTIONAL) Close out cycle with var or winnie to harden you up last 4 weeks.

Nolva, aromasin, for PCT. Clomid is fukced up. Good luck.

Don't forget to EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!

Agree. Would it be safe to say that you can recieve just as good results, if not better running 250 ew with a great diet, as to a 500 mg ew cycle with a shitty diet?
