from 3rd worst team in the NHL to 2nd best in the East. it was an amazing season.

the Lightning have DesJardins waiting in the wings to take over at goalie, and have sensational young talent.. a committed owner and the best GM/coach tandem in the league.

the only difference in the series was that boston had home ice. the Lightning had no goalie early in the year otherwise they would of been the top team and had home ice..

expect the Lightning to be a force for a while.
