2010 Ford Fusion Sport beats Accord, Camry, Malibu, Mazda6, and Sonata

P.S. everything i have owned that was assembled in mexico, be it a car, a refridgerator, a dishwasher....have all been POS's.

"Comparison Test: Accord vs Malibu vs Fusion vs Mazda6 vs Sonata" Edmunds Daily

This really wasn't close. The Ford Fusion Sport scored either first or second in every subjective scoring category.QUOTE]

the key word here is "subjective".

edmunds has a long history of relying more on number crunching than actual driving impressions.

"subjective" knot equal to "number crunching"

the sho model has 365 ponies. Twin turbo charged. Not bad.... still a ford though

What source did you use for "driving impressions" when you purchased the PT?

***"Buy American" indicates the location of the parent companies HQ, e.g. where the buck stops.

What's the profit margin in a new car? After you've paid the suppliers, the workers, and built all the pieces and assembled it, what percentage of that money is pure gravy?

'Cause I think that buying a Honda Accord, assembled by American workers in Marysville, OH, and with a higher Domestic Content percentage than either the Fusion or Malibu, does more for the US workers and economy than buying a Mexican-assembled Ford, even with the little bit of cash that goes back to Soichiro Honda in Tokyo.

butt the profit from the new car's sales is only a small percentage of the amount a manufacturer will make during the life of the vehicle with the bulk of profits cuming from service and repairs and corresponding parts and labor eventually finding its way to the HQ of the parent company :)
