2010 Ford Fusion Sport beats Accord, Camry, Malibu, Mazda6, and Sonata

Perhaps not on that Mazda6 either. I used to own an '04 s with the 3.0 Duratec. I heard the 2nd gen M6 has not only gotten bigger, but softer and less sporting. That new 3.5l Duratec would be a nice plant to mate with a solid short throw manual, but last I heard (which has admittedly been a while) there was not going to be a manual offered.

I'm kinda diggin that Hyundai Genesis Coupe for next summer buy. I like the Accord couple now but the looks never age well. I always hate Accords when they're more than 2-3 years old for some reason. Lexus IS250's are all over L.A. like BMW's used to be. Might have to settle for a used G35.

Yeah it's a Duratec. Just a bumped out displacement. Not a bad engine at all, but still a bit long in the tooth. It was originally a Cosworth design and was used in the old Ford Contours and they just keep bumping the displacement. Understandably Ford wanted to keep the cost of the car down by reworking an old engine.

Dont know anything about that tranny. Gotta be better than the old Jaguar unit used in my '04 though.

the wedgy accord coupe from around 2000 or so was my fav. the last 2 generations of accords (sedans and coupes) became too large.

Honda needs to bring back the Prelude, the Accord Coupe is a poor substitute if you actually Like Cars.
