From the reading I've done around here, make sure your poses are in order. I have absolutely no idea but the way you position yourself can make a big difference in how you look on stage. Have a look at pics of the pros, and put up a range of poses for the experienced bros to let you know what to work on?

Look very good! Great work! Have confidence up and stage and practice, with and without a mirror.

I can't really see the pics to well but you look great man.....just keep doin what your doin, not the time to change a thing.

is there anyway around those underwear that make your wear for the shows?

someone should invent something

there has to be a way around it
 
Hey everyone, thanks for the good words! And no i'm not nervous at all been up in front of crowds many many times before. sorry about the small pics. and i am VERY PROUD OF MY AGE, lived a very exciting life so far i would'nt change a thing. This BB contest is on my "things to do before i die list" so here we go!
My mantra to myself: you got this thing won bro. smash it in the ass :smash: the contest is mine!
and thanks for the advice, yeah i need to find more time to practice posing!
 
Looking good my friend. Damn great shape for over 40. Shit, I wished I looked that good when I was in my 20-30s. Good luck.
 
Speaking as an old fart myself (did my last show at age 40 in 2005) its still pretty amazing how great (we) can look at any age if we take care of ourselves. The pix are small but from your avi, looks like you have really nice top / bottom symmetry and nice shape overall -- that last week's depletion should reveal some crazy cuts.

Hope we get to see some show pix!

Sassy, Tshoot, Quad; thanks for the encouragement! That's one of the reasons i love this sport/art people knowing what the other is going through and willing to help each other out. Again sorry for the small pics. will post some pics after the show. WITH THE TROPHY!

hey tshoot, yeah no problem. but pls understand this is just what I do. i dont want to stir up the bee's nest by implying that THIS IS THE WAY TO DO IT. it's just MY w/o and cycle info.

OK FOR MY WORKOUTS: when i start a cycle i start my workouts with alot of powerlifting/olympic lifts to include multijoint exercises and very little to no cardio(just being lazy though). then i transition to BB excercises to kinda more fine tune the bulk. and at this time i am doing high rep, low to moderate weight muscle isolation exercises to failure pyramiding reps and weight really concentrating and squeezing at the peak of each rep. it helps me bring out some definition in what i've built. i am doing cardio twice/day @ this time 1hr morning then 1 hr after work.

OK SO THIS CYCLE WENT LIKE THIS:
>test e 500mg/wk wks 1-16
>dbol 30mg/day wks 1-4
>deca 250mg/wk wks 1-12
>test prop 100mg/day wks 16-present
>tren A 50mg/day wks 16-present
>winny 50mg/day wks 16-present
>clen 400mcg/day wks 16-present cycle 2wks on wks off
>T3 25mcg ramping to 100mcg/day wks 16-present
>AFIM throughout cycle (this really helps me)
yeah i know it's alot, i found out about and decided to enter this comp. @ wk 12 so thats why i changed up my cycle and also why it's such a long one for me. i got all my PCT in order and am going to take a 3-4 mo. break after this.
i hope this helps you or anyone else out or gives insight to what others are doing so you got something to go on. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

whats your plans leading up to the contest as far as depletion goes? in other words what you gonna do to squeeze that last bit of water and sodium out of your system?

i started diuretics today @10days out, 2x/day morning/evening.this wkend gonna load sodium and carb deplete(maybe) kinda gotta see where i'm at at that point but if i do deplete it'll be a 3 dayer.then at about 3 days out water will be cut drastically and at day prior will start to eat carbs (sweet potatoes).no water night before after 6pm then prejudging is 9am something good and sweet 1/2 hr before stepping up on stage.
Just want to note that i got most if not all my instruction/info from "THE MAN LITTLEMAGS"! and like i said i will up date with pics, AND I WILL BE HOLDING THE TROPHY! :chomp:
