Half a joke with a serious aspect to it also. We're already seeing triple bodyweight benches. Nonetheless, the 800 and change pound benches are getting all the publicity. Don't get me wrong, they're all impressive! Follow me?

I'm with you my man, I don't take it as an insult, my light guys bust my ass all the time.
 
I think it is possible... but not as easy as some might think. The weight has gone up a lot in last 20 years for sure. But at some point you start to reach the limits of human (even enchanced) potential. Think of the 4-minute mile. It took forever to break it, and although the times have decreased quite a bit... aint nobody running a 3-minute mile.
 
it will happen someday. 900 has yet to fall and i really don't think it will fall this year in any sanctioned meet. 1000 will probably be broke by somebody no one's even heard of.
