Question: Even when juicing at high doses is this the norm someone told me this and i don't really get this. He has been training for along time and has hit his genetic potential and is been doing the juice for a good many years. So would 10 -15 lbs of lean 100% BEEF be all a person could put on in a year of bulking, this does not include fat or water retetion which comes with mass cycles. 10 lbs might not seem alot but i just picked up some lean groun beef from costco and it seemed like alot of meat............. what do u guys and gals think:idea:

10-15 pounds in a year ?? You can do that naturally in a few months with a great diet. Sounds like he isn't training/eating/sleeping right if that is all he's gaining in a year on juice !!!

If I could gain 10-15 lbs of muscle in a few months naturally, I would NEVER need the juice.
The only people I've ever seen gain that much muscle naturally in that short period of time, are people just starting to bodybuild.
I gained roughly 10 lbs a year naturally... until I stagnated and couldn't grow anymore. Then I juiced. And now I gain 10-20 lbs a year of 100% lean beef. Not much... but it's better than I was doing.

you will reach a point where an extra 10lbs of lean mass in one year requires some serious work...everyone reaches plateaus...even on juice

Sure you can gain that when you're starting off, but not once you're more experienced. My first year I think I gained close to 30lb, just training and eating more than I used to. Think about it, that's 100-150lb in 10 years?! no way. There'd be tons of huge mofos around.

If you can handle taking as much gear as your body needs to break any plateaus then sure.. why not..

this is erroneous thinking!

BTW....carnie LMAO @ the 10-15 lbs naturally in 2-3 months

newbies, bless your little hearts!

The pro's, with all the gear they take, are lucky to get 10-15lbs of lean mass a year! Sometimes, not very often, they will gain a large amount of lean mass in a years time. Jay Culter and King Kamali are two that come to mind.

Do you realize how big you'd be if you gained 10lb. a year of solid muscle? Just for instance, say you were 6'0'' 200lb. at the age of 20. At this point you begin taking steroids. By the time you are 29 years old, you'd weigh close to 300lb. and would have the same bodyfat that you did when you were 20 years old. That is a great accomplishment to say the least.

So anyone that says 10lb. a year isn't that much and can do it naturally obviously has their head up their ass!

Seven or eight pounds a year would be the max you could gain with a perfect diet, eating, workout, and sleeping habits. A more reasonable estimate for most of us is about five pounds the first year and a little less each year after with good habits. WIth juice, you can probably gain 15+ pounds of retainable muscle mass a year, that's why we do it.
