no, the trainers/docs on hand should have seen the way he was hobbling during the week and pregame and taken him out.
they are supposedly the best docs/trainers in the world yet they had him out there playing hobbling around. doesn't make much sense to me. also i was under the impression they had authority to over-rule a head coach's decision to play a guy. yet the story is that Rg3 convinced shanahan to play him, why would the HC/player make that decision ?? of course rg3 is gonna want to play so is every other player who is injured.. shanahan and the docs/trainers should know better
