  • Well the Tempurpedic definitely saved my life with my lower back and the goofy Arc4Life pillow has improved my military neck pain. Granted, I wake up in the morning, turn my head and it sounds like I'm breaking carrots, but at least I CAN turn my head.

My rotator cuff tears probably came from cervical impingement, thank you genetics! You know, I've had back trouble since my teens, I was utterly terrified of having an epidural when I was pregnant. I knew my lower back looked like a bird's eye view of a derailed train, I couldn't imagine them trying to stick a needle in without fucking something up further, probably one of the better decisions I made.

Being pregnant screwed my back up further, too. That's when I started with this weird rib thing I have, if I bend funny one rib will slide under the other, horrible feeling.

You're lucky with the weight, girl! Damned good work! I'm beginning to think the only way I'll get to where I want to be is to break down and see a doctor ... well, that or give up drinking. I don't see either one happening in the near future :lmao:
Shit, $60 for half a mil, excellent! Good luck with the other stuff ... fucking back pain ... HEY, don't forget about that cervical pillow, I love that damned thing!
When I was in my 20s my ex witnessed an auto accident and ended up being sued for the accident! (not as uncommon as you'd think, which is why smart people cut and run and don't volunteer to be witnesses). We had Allstate then, too. Then ended up paying the Plaintiff like $10k to shut the guy up. It was without prejudice, didn't affect our insurance rates or anything. That was the 80s, companies don't just roll over anymore. If this goes to a trial he'll never get $100k. No cop report? No proof that when the pictures he took (the next day after the fact) weren't staged? Concrete is in completely undamaged condition, not even a 1/2" variance in the seams. He won't get shit.
Well, one thing I know after my stint working for the actuary is that the way the companies manage things varies from state to state because everything is overseen by each separate state insurance department, so that could be a definite factor.

Honestly, I've never even heard of Amica, they're licensed in this state (I checked) but not common.

The trick with a S&F is it's up to the Plaintiff to prove gross negligence. I have a curb that's in perfect condition, not even plants growing around it :whatever: He's welcome to try to prove negligence but it's going to come back to the same thing: If you broke your arm and dislocated your shoulder in the fall why wasn't 911 called so a report of the serious condition of the curbing would be made at the time of the incident?
I actually spoke to my personal atty. when I got the first letter from the other guy's lawyer. He told me "let your insurance co. take care of it, 99 times out of 100 it'll be fine. You don't want to get into the expense of getting me involved unless things go very bad. Then you call me."

I actually have a nice lawyer :lmao:

If things go very, very badly my husband and I have a fallback plan, we WILL sue the township, because his argument hinges primarily on the incline of the handicapped ramp contributing to the fall -- the township is in the process of replacing the ramps all over the place.

How are you and the new little ankle biter doing? :qt:
oh that's right. we registered for a p&p but we will likely just use it for when we're traveling or something I don't know. your baby should be here anyday now.
I saw the co-sleeper at BRU but it was so wobbly and cheap feeling that I went with a wooden framed bassinet instead. but I have known people who used the co-sleeper/ is that what you're gonna use?
