  • I'm just learning about Contemplative Neuroscience now from reading Daniel Siegel (Mindsight) and Richard Davidson's (The Emotional Life of the Brain). I often have trouble retaining what I read which I've always attributed to stress and sleep deprivation.

    The science is relatively new using fMRI (with the cooperation of the Dalai Lama) to observe neural mechanisms of monks with >10,000 hours of meditation practice in developing focus.

    I think if you can get someone to script you Vyvanse you would notice a big change in the quality of your life -- positive change. I do want to add though, that I wouldn't take them every day. I would only take them on days you need that focus. I've noticed they can mess with the more playful sides of people's personalities and make them more serious. If you do decide to take them and notice that you are not enjoying some of the more simple things that you used to, you know cut back or whatever. Just keep an eye out if you decide to take them. Vyvanse off label uses are very beneficial too; it is a great drug.
    Yes, every time I log on I have a shit load of PMs waiting for me to ignore...LOL
