I had one from years of training. It was small and my doc said leave it alone unless it gets worse but I could no longer lift weights. I still train and opted to get it repaired. No issues since then.

Keto and get your full hormonal panel done including T3 T4 TSH. I’d also get a resting metabolic rate test to better assess how you’re burning fuel. If you’re trying to build muscle you’ll need some carbs.
