You sort of answered your own question. You can still definitely lean out with carbs and thousands of examples of very low bodyfat percentages exist to back it up. Personally I drop carbs pretty low to lean out with success, but don’t eliminate them to zero.
You may not be going deep enough for IM. I get knots from MCT’s when doing subq now and then. Through trial and error I can’t do more than .5 cc’s of any compound or I get them.

I’ve used a skin for Tren and Test. Trial and error showed me test knots less than Tren in equals amounts but I’m not sure why. Some of the knots will last a few weeks but go away in time.
