Dreams Anyone?

I can't imagine what you might have seen in 1995/96 that may have influenced this...

Actually I didn't see Braveheart until after these dreams started. Shockingly I didn't see it for a couple of years after it came out.

Cheers,

Last nights dream:

I cut all my hair off, and I loved it

and I remember letters written in blue on the bottom of a door, JC MN.

wtflol
Can't imagine what the letters mean, Jesus visiting Minnesota, perhaps? :lmao:

The hair is about making a VERY major life change (not saying it's going to happen, but that perhaps you're thinking about shaking things up, or wish you could. Face it, it's a change you would never make). Most women feel very strongly about their hair, they consider it their identity, almost. The idea of cutting their hair off can be a bit traumatic.

Actually most of the dream you've described are about life changes.

I thought just....v was the dream analizer. She rocks at it and tatts too.

My dreams are weird as shit. One example is me sitting down in my living room and all of the sudden my old man storms into the room yelling at me "Frank! Frank!" and I say "What?" and he tells me "Your uncle has turned into a truck".

You must have goten my smoke signal ? LOLZ

I've had a reoccuring dream for about 14 years now. I'm wearing my kilt upper body painted blue, charging into a field of people (place varies sometimes a mideval battlefield, sometimes accross my college campus, crowded square etc..), broadsword in hand chopping my way through the masses. Always at the end of the dream I am in a banquet hall with my old roomates head as the center piece on the table with flowers growing out of it. The hall is always filled with family and friends. Whenever I have this dream I wake up extremely happy and refreshed.

Hi! Sorry Scotsman, here we go...

Kilt: implies pride in one's ancestral heritage.
Blue: represents spirtiualuality and spiritual aspects in life.
There is nothing for broadsword and to definitions for sword so here you go
Sword: connotes a self-defensive elements; means of protecting one's position
Double-egded Sword: Stands for somthing that could backfire
Battlefield: points to the issue leading to conflict
Battle: indicates a tough time ahead; a real struggle to reach a goal
Discarnate (disembodied): refers to a hidden life aspects or something the dreamer isn't seeing
Flower: pertains to one's natural inharent talents that should beautifully blossom as they are utlilzed
centerpiece: signifies decorative appeal: attractiveness, that which creates an appealing atmosphere; the focus of attention
Banquet room: stands for a place of sharing. The key here is to recall the rooms condition, how it was decorated and if it was full of people
^^^exactly what the book says
Family: connotes close associations that are supposed to be unified.

ok...that is an interesting dream. my 2 cent is that you have a strong foundation of family and friends. You are proud of who you are and that is how you were raised. This roommate was a cool person, but you could never figure out why the dude did what he did. Or maybe you thought he was cool and he lied to you and you were disappointed because initially you saw a lot of good things in this person.
It is a lot easier if I know something about the person who has the dream, so I could be really off base here. What I was looking at was how you cut through the masses. Like you choose your friends. Then to have this particular head on the table with the flowers as a centerpiece. It leads me to believe that this was your bro or (if it was a female) ur chick. The fact that it was just the head instead of the entire body makes me think that they lied to you.

Let me know if I am off base... Oh and if you tell me what kind of flower, I can give u a better idea of thier meaning (colors too!)

You must have gotten my smoke signal ? LOLZ

lololol, it was pretty much the opposite of what those color meaning say.

um as for the partner, he's the man of my dreams.lololol
well he is, he is the only one i dream about consistently. i don't know if i know him cause i dont know what he looks like; always in the shadows. i tried to figure out/remember what he looks like but i always draw blank. it seems i never pay attention to his appearance, because i'm so wrapped up in the feelings he induces. and i'm always having sex with him, he doesn't appear in any nonsexual dreams i have. i always feel safe w/ him, like holding your breath/dying and then being able to breath when he is present and knowing u'll never suffocate as long as he is there.

Hmm...maybe he represents another part of you? Remember sex in a dream is not about desire as much as it is about communication. Maybe there is something you don't want to admit to yourself and once you do, things will be better? Or (if you believe in angels) maybe he is your guardian trying to tell you something. For example, if you have this dream when things are tough maybe it means that you will get through it and this male figure (be it part of yourself or your guardian angel) is trying to tell you that despite all the volitile stuff that is going on in your life, you should not be afraid because you are strong.

That sound crazy? Just so that you know, I have had dreams that I am doing stuff and I look in the mirror and I see a man's reflection. Yep, I am a wierd-o.

Sorry girlfriend, here we go...

Haircut: symbolizes an attempt to cut away extraneous elements to an issue; a desire to stay focused on the main issue and not have it complicated by nonessential aspects
Door: indicates a life factor the one must experience or pass through to achieve advancement or progression alone one's path
Blue: represents spirituality and spiritual aspects in life

I am clueless on the letters thou, initials maybe?

My dreams are weird as shit. One example is me sitting down in my living room and all of the sudden my old man storms into the room yelling at me "Frank! Frank!" and I say "What?" and he tells me "Your uncle has turned into a truck".

?????

Living Room: depicts one's attitudes toward daily life
Truck: correlates to personal efforts and the engergy expended for same

I will tell you this once, lay off the koolaid, bro.

Yes, I got it, a sharp pain in my left cheek

Good thing he didn't have to tell you twice, or you might have a black eye too!

There is This one girl I dream about but I'm not sure if she bes dreaming bout me :(

I had a dream rocks were falling from the sky and crushing people around me. Of course I was able to escape, and when it looked like I couldn't...I just ended the dream.

The rocks were all sizes too. From small stones to huge boulders, some as big as a house.

Pretty fuckin cool huh?

Rocks useually symbolize that Jesus hates you and will crush you from heavan I just spoke with V she told me so.

do psychologists completely disregard dreams?

cool dream ceo, I wonder what V says rocks mean...or MM
oddly enough most looove interpreting them, specially the psychoanalysts/Freudian type psychologists, personally I dont think they mean a thing and they are just a random compilation of imagery generated by your brain.... but in all fairness I'm a neuropsychologist so of course I feel that way.... :)

WTF did you just say

Flowers not sure seems as if they aren't always the same. Yeah roomate was a really good friend or so I thought till I found out he's about the biggest douche in the world. Yep definitely lied and went behind my back. As for the hall it's always a viking style hall with carved wood and ornate pillars.

Yes we were raised with a great sense of pride in our heritage. Also yes I only have a small core group of friends and I always keep my family close.

Sky is falling dream :lmao:

Neuropsychology aside, I don't actually believe all dreams mean anything either. However, from a metaphysical/spiritual perspective, and from the perspective of someone who believes that personal insight is the key to growth, I do believe some dreams have meaning/importance.

I believe there are times you have something you need to address in your life and you lie to yourself about it, shove it to the back of your mind, or flat out ignore the problem and your subconscious takes over. The subconscious functions through puns, imagery and metaphors.

Occasionally a dream is precognitive or of a spiritual nature, but I'm not going there since there are a lot of people on this thread who do not share my spiritual beliefs. But trust me, when you have a dream that crosses into the spiritual realms you know it. It's different. The best way to describe it would be that it's extremely vivid, it sticks in your memory, and there's a sense of familiarity.

I likE to make pointy fingers when I finger paint down at thevold folks home

I've had dreams before...mostly when I was younger, and not too often..where I dreamed something, and it came to pass exactly as I dreamed it. Usually not too significant, just something I observed in my dream, but it happened exactly the same in real life shortly after I dreamed it.

Also, I once had a dream that my dad was dying of a heart attack, and the next evening I got a call from my mom and my dad was officially diagnosed with CHF that day (the day after my dream) and he had an ejection fraction of 25%. That was in 2002. He died in 2009.

I'm like a fuggin precog, huh?

:D

cool dream ceo, I wonder what V says rocks mean...or MM

Rock: refers to the hard, difficult elements or phases in life.

His dream is about the difficult things in life trying to defeat him.

I know a guy that had a dream about this other man trying to kill him, he always ran from him and he never saw his face and woke up before the fight with this man was over. We talked about it and he decided that he would not wake himself up and face this mystery man. It turned out he was running from himself. It was totally wild.

I disagree with this the rocks falling are prolly CEO's fear of being stoned for his geigh tendencies. However you did nail that Scotsman ngrs dream, so I think MM needs to hand over the crown and bow out with dignity and grace.

Also I dreamed once I was The Chosen One and "fucking A" whata you know, Look at me now.

i was stoned once...rather recently...and i'm not :rainbow: ...so there, mr. smartypants.

Me too its on like Donkey Kong, Make a sepreate thread thou bro.

nothing...i'm just a good ole' boy that likes to roll his own once in a while...carry on with your chirping.
I challenge you to a winter fat boy abs contest right now

I don't put a lot of weight into dream interpretation...it's fun and all, but fact is, no one knows what dreams really are. Although.....I have to agree with MM on the "vivid dreams" thing......there have been a few dreams I have had that were so vivid and I still remember to this day - they were more like memories than anything - of a different life, maybe? Also.....I used to have recurring dreams that my teeth were falling out.....for years I had those same dreams....I'd be eating something and would start chewing on my own teeth. Used to freak me the f*** out.....until I was diagnosed with hypoparathyroidism. This condition causes your calcium to NOT absorb into your body....it just stays in your blooed and gets filtered through your filter organs (and will calcify them, if untreated). I had surgery to fix it, and ever since then I haven't had those dreams anymore. Kinda wonder if my body was telling me I had a problem with my calcium levels.......

Lolz naw me and digi have ab contests often. He may be a lil nift since I destroyed him in the summer contest thou

Ah I see. Personally I am a chest and shoulders kinda girl, but whatever tickles your pickle is what I say.

Chest and shoulders are strong points for S to the B

Frankly, I figured with Scots humor, and knowing him a little on a personal level, he was fucking with V over the dream.

Books to interpret dreams are useless and I'll prove it. I challenge just...v to interpret these three dreams. Once you've pull the factoids out of your book, I'll tell you what they REALLY meant.

1. I dreamed about a tornado tearing through my neighborhood. My husband, son and I were watching through a window and could see it head toward our house. I woke up. At the time my son wasn't living with me, but in Texas quite happily with his wife.

2. This one is a recurring one I used to have quite frequently: One of my teeth (doesn't matter which, could be anywhere in my mouth) would be bothering me. I would start messing around with the tooth and eventually pull it out. Pulling the tooth out usually caused both a sense of relief (as the discomfort was gone) but also alarm because, well, I pulled out my tooth! Shortly after getting upset over the new hole in my mouth I would feel (sometimes see in a mirror) a new tooth erupting in the place of the one I have just yanked out.

3. When my son was still a baby in the crib I dreamed I had a litter of puppies. I was playing with the puppies like they were toys, throwing them up in the air, tossing them around, virtually juggling them. The puppies looked to be yellow labs. In the dream I was wearing a babydoll nightgown (I mention that because normally I sleep raw).

Last nights, kinda boring/weird but I remember it:

I'm driving through the middle of nowhere with my Dad. WE have this special machine that do do special things, but I cant remember what it does, you point at it and it does some sci-fiction things lol...I fall asleep in the car, I wake up and its dark and the car is going super fast, my Dad has fallen asleep at the wheel with his foot on the pedal, or passed out or something. I get the car slowed down to a stop and I pry his eye open and point hte machine at his eye and it causes him to wake up and walk out side the car next to a bridge. I get out and look around, there's something wrong with my Dad. I think to ask for help but when I'm looking around there is absolutely no one around, it is still pitch black and in the very far distance you can see on car drive very very far away. Then next to him is a toddler. The toddler is mine in the dream (but its not Abby) they jump off the bridge and I run over to the edge and the baby's head has hit a rock. Then I wake up.

lol

Last Nights Dream for SB:
I dreamed I had a rock hard blue vein throbber. I woke up and FML and rock hard hardon. Shit I must be a fucking Mormon or something, huh?

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay, uhhhhh pics or you don't sleep Raw.

I haven't worn clothes to bed since I moved out of my mommy's house (except when I was camping with the kids) can't stand it, feels like I'm being strangled.

And honestly, you're married. You see a naked woman every day of your life. And incidentally, looking at naked women OTHER than your wife makes baby Jesus cry.

lol

I tried sleeping in the raw, but my wife said that when I sleep on my back she felt like she was sleeping in a tent, so I said fuck it.

Damn baby Jesus must be really sad.

I just feel asleep and dreamed I had a boner and a ham sammich. And what ya know I woke up with wood and an empty Subway wrapper, i wonder who ate my sammich ????

I dreamed that I had checked out at the supermarket and was trying to leave but all the exits were blocked by fat deformed retards with green sores. What the hell did that mean?

LOL, for once I was completely on the level. Personally I like that dream I think it's an outlet for what I want to do on an almost daily basis. Fuck I was born about a thousand years too late.:(

Last night I dreamed I suspected my husband was cheating on me and he suspected I was cheating on him and somehow he got me committed to an asylum... when I got out he had left our place, so I left for several years to work as a hotel manager in Aruba (wtf), then I decided to come back and my neighbors told me stayed in the US and lived there for a while then moved to another state and came back, never got rid of our place, they also told me he hired a nanny because he was convinced I left pregnant to Aruba with "our" child, then my father in law called me to go to a family event and I found my husband there, even though years had past we still had this vibe that we wanted to be together but neither of us said anything because we were to proud.... so I said it and then I woke up....

There are SO many things in this dream an analyst could go nuts on, personally I think it's a mixture of memories and conversations from my last couple of days (reading on EF that he's cheating on me, seeing a divorce court show yesterday, couple of preggers peeps here.... I was checking flights to several places and Aruba had popped up, this is why I think it's just imagery stored in ur brain randomly forming....

Car: equates to the quality of one's physical condition. This most often refers to one's personal physiological system.
Dark: suggests something that is difficult to perceive' may refer to negativity; obscure or enigmatic
Sleeping: correlates with unawareness, possibly by choice
Unconscious: usually denotes ignorance or unawareness, yet may indicate complete insensitivity.
Eye: defines one's personal perceptual characteristics
So I am thinking it would fall under Unfocused eyes: allude to undefined perceptions; disinterest
Faraway: indicates a life stage that is approaching a personal attitude of losing faith and motivation
Uncontrolled: signifies a lack of direction or planning; may indicate an aspect that has gotten out of hand.
Bridge: some type of connective element
Toddler: implies one's beginning steps toward a new endeavor, direction, or belief
Rock: refers to the hard, difficult elements or phases in life. May signify loyalty or steadfastness, depending on the surrounding dreamscape elements.
Jumping: implies impatience with one's path progression or advancement
I don't know if you considered it suicide but I am giving it to you anyway
Susicide: reveals a loss of inner strength and the perception of being a spiritual facet of the Divine Essence. This symbol may also reveal a self-defeating plan or move.

This dream is about the relationship with your father. I want to say that the toddler is you or some aspect of you. The fact that the toddler and your father jumped off the bridge means to me that you lost or you are afraid of losing some kind of connection with him. And that is hard for you. It may or may not be a spiritual one. It might be that you are concerned about his health. Or you guys may have disagreed about something that you have had disagreements about before.

I dreamed that I had checked out at the supermarket and was trying to leave but all the exits were blocked by fat deformed retards with green sores. What the hell did that mean?

Lol, ok.

supermarket: relates to available opportunities, choices
Fat/obesity: represents an overindulgence of some type; an inability to deny oneself; lack of self-control. This symbol may also point to a love/hate conflice within oneself
Deformity: denotes an opportunity for growth
Retardation: alludes to a comprehension inability, most often self-imposed.
Green: Health and growth
So the book has nothing for sores (interesting) I went with boil: warns of supressed emotions; and irritation remaining under the skin

You are at a crossroads of some sort. You may be in denial about something. You feel you cant move on until you decide on whatever it is, but once you do, life will be gravy again.

I see....

That is the point of all of this stuff (dream interpretation, numerology, tarot cards). It’s a fun way to look harder at yourself. It only means something if it means something to YOU. Like I said before, just have fun with it. Life is waaaay too short for all that seriousness.

I'm sure you're an expert tarot card reader too.

Ok, Okaaaaayyy. I realize that you are in desperate need for attention. So here it is, I am slapping you with a fish.

:splat:
Huh, everyone else gets a dream interpretation, but not me, especially when I want to talk about it. You just want to read your little book, not discuss possibilities.

So then you mention tarot, which happens to be a something I've been studying and practicing for oh, let's see, about 15 years or so and I'm an attention monger?

BTW, what did your name used to be? Personal life has forced me to be away from the board a bit in the past few months but I'm relatively sure you used to post under another handle.

EH... I actually just think she's not quite learned to read person's post count before considering appropriate ways to respond - I was actually very taken aback by her response to you. I could be wrong!

I didnt like it either....but it's mostly because I really respect MM and value most of her comments.

Well, see that's the thing ... post count. When someone's got less than a few thousand it ain't so much to go back and read their posts from the first. I read through V's posts and they look familiar, but the name doesn't ring a bell. But then, as I said, I've been more than a little distracted lately.

One would think that she'd notice the title under my name. Of course, I could be mistaken and she is a newb and has no way of knowing that as a Mentor I'm vaguely under the periphery of site staff (granted, on the EXTREME of that edge).

But be that as it may, it always baffles me how it never occurs to most people to look at other posters profiles. Had she bothered, then she would have seen that I've got it out there that I'm a practicing Wiccan. Unless her real name is Christine O'Donnell I'd think that anyone else who encountered that information would expect me to have a different perspective on things like dream interpretation and tarot cards.

You cant expect much from her... she even likes strongbow :lmao:

Lolz at all this bullshit rach I expect better from you. She makes an intresting thread and must have stepped on some toes. It's her thread if you don't like it get the fuck out of it case closed. So much for welcoming new members and being supportive. Grow the fuck up

She received a decent welcoming and we have not been rude to her, we can post wherever we damn well please, this is a forum for idea exchange and conversation, we dont have to all agree on the same stuff

Nobody gives a fuck if you agree or not but don't tell me that this bullshitbis just having an opinion. Looks more like an attack on the new hot chic typical fucking women behavior. You people always bitch about wanting more females members and you get one so let's pile up on het and run her off. She clearly said she was reading from a book so if you don't like what the book says tuff shit. Now give me a million k and leave the fucking hateraid in the fridge

Would you like to tell us all how you are now a mentor and noone should disagree with you as well??:)

Im not whining just pointing out all you jealous ass bishes'bullshit. Also STFU, or should I count your posts before I tell you to STFU, okay I counted, now STFU:D

Also I took the liberty of reporting the post for you, you can thank me later.

I love MM and I'm really liking this V chick, hope she's not an alter. I think V should do her book interp of MM's dreams and then MM can tell us what they really mean :chomp:

lol! SB, lol why?!
Well hell Lou I knew it would be, so i went ahead and saved them some time. And V is no alter, I have spoken to her, she is way cool.

I would like to point out one more thing. In the thread title it says, Is anyone intrested? So even being the gigantic sum bitch I am, I would not come in here if I was not intrested in hearing what the book had to say. Thats like coming into a tit pics thread and bitching cause you like big nipples and all the wimmenz that posted has small nips. Now I am done, until some smartass pops off. Peace
