maybe you can beat the poly but the background check if you
got even the smallest bit of dirt?
no every bit of dirt is found...every single tiny shred or speck is found
especially when you start moving up clearance levels....(not so much at basic entry level clearance)
like interview neighbors you lived next door to for 3 months 10 years ago kind of dirt..military that is. You'd be shocked how little they look into backround for cops beyond their own tests/psych exam etc.
its simple SD, you have to lie on something simple that they don't expect you to lie about
on one or two baseline questions...
the trick is picking ones that are difficult to verify (age/residence are obviously out)
and pause to think about something, anything else before every single question
it screws with the baseline so they have no good reference because the entire test test is based on your own individual physiological responses...and really isn't the most accurate thing in the world because its subject to individual interpretation to a degree
ie, it's not an exact "science"
