so, I pretty much have this granite/marble/travertine etc etc etc counter top sales job in the bag
the place is ten minutes from my house, the owner doesnt expect miracles for the first 6 mths on the job
the job is business to business and end user
it involves travel in my own vehicle to any area on the western half of the state (which isnt huge) but is primarily within the valley
it includes some design aspects and sales is expected to see the order through from initial contact through to completion of the project
I was told to think about what I wanted for salary and commision and he would give me a call this afternoon
Im in Ct, the area is affluent
wtf do I say?? I've always had this aspect dictated to me
do I force him to come up with a number?
Kitchen design/sales is generally around 25-35k a yr + 7-12% of overall gross though sometimes its net
