Felt is coming on last Friday evening, Saturday a bit worse and by bedtime that day it was heinous. Sunday sucked. Monday it was into my chest pretty good, and stayed that way Tuesday. Wednesday I was improving, yesterday no symptoms anymore except a lot of left over mucous in the nose.


And today the nose is finally totally clear, but sweet cock of Moses I'm removing golf balls boogs from the nose.


Pics anyone? I might be able to get a world record with size on that last one.

I used the nasal squirt bottle thing with the alkalizing packets the first two days. I know bacterial growth is discouraged in an alkaline environment, but apparently viruses don't give a shit.

The plastic squirt bottle thing I use feels a bit like you're drowning too but I swim a lot and the feeling of some water getting up the nose doesn't bother me. My husband totally freaks out though when he uses it.

Same here. Once the symptoms are beginning to trail off you know your body has antibodies in place now kicking ass and you can begin to expend some discretionary energy. Before that it'd just be foolish to lift. Your body needs that glucose for energy to keep fighting.
