From the very first time you used roids until now, how much gains would you say youve KEPT? Be honest please

I've been off everything for quite a few months and am at an all time size and weight and strength. 8 lbs more than m heaviest while on including water. No water now, so am probably 12 lean pounds heavier.

so, i have not necessarily kept all the gains I made while on, but I have improved upon them by training smarter and dieting better.

Good question but so hard to answer. There are too many factors -- age, amount of cycles, years training prior to juicing, time off in-between cycles, commitment to training while off cycle, etc. So many guys don't reach their natural potential before using roids so how much did the roids help? Impossible to say. Even if the person answers honestly, in their mid, it may not be accurate.

I think it's possible to add maybe 10-15 pounds of actual muscle tissue from gear over the course of a couple of years and keep them. Anything over that is either maintain by continued cycles or was mass that would have been obtained naturally or it's fat.

Yes, there are many factors but I just wanted a bottom line answer and kept it simple in the poll. I thought it was an interesting question and i dont know if its ever been put to a poll on here before. Im sure it makes some uncomfortable to answer. I didnt want to know who "would have" or "could have" kept gains if xyz happened. I simply wanted to know what the ultimate bottom line of gains that have been kept from the time they first picked up a roid until now. Because thats the reality and all that matters.

..I'll buy that for a dollar

So youre saying its impossible to add mass above your bodys natural limit and keep it without continued cycling? Since it would have been obtained naturally anyhow?

No, I'm saying you can go 10-15 lbs beyond your natural limit, but that's about as much as you can hold naturally afterward.

Gotta agree on that one. Look at body builders who where huge and when they came out where sucked up.

Yeah, they lose tons of mass, but you can still tell that they used to be big time lifters. And it's not that they necesarrilly look huge, but there muscles just look different. The vascularity sometimes stays, and the muscle just looks very strong mature.

I could point out guys that used to be huge mofos that now are normal sized just by looking at their arms.

I dunno what my post has to do with the topic, lol.

well that works out for me since all i want to gain is 20 more pounds tops anyhow. im pretty sure im at my "homeostasis" weight right now since i havent doen any working out or dieting in about 4 years so i definetely know what my baseline is.

So true. Some of them just quite training. When you are that far beyond your genetic potential there is no way to maintain all of it with out steroids, slin, HGH...

Look at Frank Zane nearing 70 years old - Born June 28, 1942. Mr. Olympia 1977, 1978 and 1979.

Sure, he was never hugh but the still man looks amazing.

post for nonplat scumbags please

im gradually getting bigger. ive lost zero gains.

are you consistently cycling? or have you been off gear long enough so that you think this is where you could maintain yourself if you never did gear again?

Wow frank Zane had the ideal body IMO.... Was he a heavy juicer?? I thought I read once that he used very mild steroids at low doses but I could be wrong

I know his nickname was "The Chemist" but not sure what doses he took. (I think his nickname was due to his knowledge and education not due to usage.)

I have read he used T3, primo tabs they brought back from europe and testosterone. He never really took dbol... said it made him bloat too much.

I have "heard" he was always an opponent of large doses of steroids. He advocated responsible low dose steroid usage.

I think Nelson Montana might know the specifics.

Have seen guys who do modest Test Only cycle basically leap frog in 1-2 cycles where they would have been say 5 year from now

basically 15 pounds heavier and kept all if they did a good PCT

To an extent, your strength and size do depend on the amount of chemicals you are using..

Having said that, I am only cruising right now on a mild dosage of testosterone and Masteron, and I am a few pounds shy of my heaviest and strongest.

I was 186lbs. and had trained naturally till I was 39 years old. In the last 2.5 years I have gone to 217 and holding that weight, I am leaner today than I was then as well. I also never come off, because I'm on hrt. So I cruise and blast and that has helped me maintain my mass.

Started cycles in 1998 when I weighed 149 lbs (at 5'9") and had been working out consistently for 12 years already. Got up to a hefty but not real attractive 230 lbs by 2005 and now weigh in at a solid (low BF%) 205 lbs.Im gonna try and keep the mass at this level unless it can be done further with little fat gains. I guess that means Ive net gained a respectable 56 lbs in 12 years.

Looks like you started too early at only 149 lbs at 5'9". Could have saved yourself less cycling wear and tear on the body and tolerance levels
