lol...it's called conservation. Let the wolves run wild, they have made a tremendous comeback, the elk and other prey will be decimated to the point where wolves starve to death. Mother nature is a bitch. The deer population where I grew up is out of control and even increasing what hunters could take left a lot of them starving to death and causing car accidents as they searched for food. My brother in law was killed in a car accident when he swerved to miss a deer ten years ago. First rule of driving, fuck the animal..it's natural selection.

I'm an animal lover. My dogs are like my kids to me. My family calls my house "the zoo". But there are a lot of starving and suffering PEOPLE in the world. Euthanize the animals and send your $18 to Africa I say.

Um, a deer will fuck you and your car up. Just saying. Swerving around a deer is a self preservation tactic. My sister has totaled two cars hitting deer and the second time around she was in the hospital for weeks...

Swerving caused me to lose control of my car and it pretty much ripped in half on a light pole.

I now just hit the brakes and hope for the best. Even when I see a dog I wont swerve anymore

I dont know whats best in that situation

I dont ever want to chance losing control of my car ever again. That sucked.

I must agree, that is a terribly sad commercial. I always smile and mention how lucky my family is that I do not have a huge house with tons of land. I would probably have 1000 animals. I hate going to pet stores, I hate going to the mspca, and I hate the feline rescue society. My heart breaks every time I walk away empty handed, like I am letting them down. It sucks!

Ditto. My parents said the same thing a while back too. They're definitely taking no prisoners with that ad.

I make regular donations to animal rescue, but if I were forced to sit thru that commercial everyday, I'd go broke giving away cash and probably have 20 dogs and 16 kitteh's crammed into my apartment!

There's more than a few obituaries on http://www.mydeathsapce.com for people who swerved to avoid a deer and ended up killing themselves after they wrapped their car around a tree.

I don't want to hit Bambi either (and we have a ridiculously large population of deer in Princeton and next door in Bucks County, PA), but if it's me or the deer, Bambi's gonna have to take one for the team.
