My girlfriend and best friend workout with me and they both says that it seems that my eyes are going to pop when I do squats lol.

The only ritual I have is when I do squats, I shoulder bump the bar so I can feel the weight acomodating...

WOOT whatever that squat and deadlift combo day did that wiped me out for almost a week....Sent my best 5 rep max to 315x5 reps x2 sets...Personally I am a looks like my face is going to rupture kind of person...When I got done with the 2nd set of 315 my neck hurt...Like my jugular was pulsing lol It felt GOOD!! and I added the barbell 20 rep rows to the end of the 5x5 work out. I did 135x5 185x5 205x5 225x5 135x20. Anyone have tricks that help get the dumbells up? I am doing inclines with 100plus now and frankly it's get's tough trying to kick the dumbell up to my shoulder. Get the other dumbell up to my shoulder then lay back.

Anyone have tricks that help get the dumbells up? I am doing inclines with 100plus now and frankly it's get's tough trying to kick the dumbell up to my shoulder. Get the other dumbell up to my shoulder then lay back.

try a set of powerhooks.

Holy shite.. I would feel like a totall pussy using those...Except...Frankly...That is just awesome. The reason I hurt my shoulder was trying to get the 90s up on my shoulder before laying back. I twisted myself a little getting the second one up and laid back my left hand dipped a little too far and I strained it holding the weight up.

Lay back Piss everyone off waiting for a bench press and just enjoy the reps. Re rack your dumbells and get ready to roll for another set!!

ps the question about excersizes added to the 5x5 per routine question..totally bypassed lol. I'd like to get madcow in on this. I am trying to stick strictly to the post. But that would end up leaving me short in some area's that I am weaker. (back and shoulders) Doing squats AND deadlifts just wipes me out..Anyone else feel this way?
