Newbie intro and advice/questions

Hello everyone, I’m and wanted to say hello to the forum. At 55 I have been losing weight for the last 9 months on Reta and also training. Not looking to get super jacked but am wanting to get down to 230lbs from 357lbs starting point. I’m down to just under 300 and I’ve hit a plateau and can’t seem to kickstart myself into fat loss mode again.
I’m also taking test e and that’s been effective for me the last couple of months. I’ve also been taking HGC and BPC.
I want to see if there’s any other peptides I could add to boost fat loss and to get some extra muscle in.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice please ?

What’s your daily/weekly dosage of test, hcg, and bpc? Slupp332 can be a great addition for fasted cardio and/or before an early workout session. Get more effect and the direct energy boost when I take it in the morning before cardio.
But at the end of the day your fat loss comes down to your diet, do you have an idea of what your daily macros are?

How long have you been running reta for ?
Sometimes I find if you take a break for 2 to 3 weeks and resart it kick starts the weightloss again
Other peptides i would look at would be Mots c or ss31 for us older blokes Sometimes ss31 can work better than Mots c
Also slupp 332 as mentioned above is a good option

the Reta is a good start but if you want to continue losing weight, you got to dial in the diet and the training from here.

you're going to have to keep taking the Reta long term. It doesn't sound like it's a situation where you can come off. Otherwise you'll gain half of it back.

Here’s a short log of what I’m taking.

Age 55
Weight 298lbs as of this morning.
Height 6’ 4”

Test 100mg per week

Reta 12 mg per week

Bpc 500mcg day

HCG 250 iu

T, R and HCG are taken every 3 days.
BPC every day. I think the numbers are right.
I also take a LOT of supplements including

Creatine
Protien powder
Beetroot
NAD+
Turmeric
Apple coder vinegar
GPC
Ginsing
Bees bread
Milk thistle
Zinc
Pomegranate
Ginkgo biloba
Rhodiola rosea
Ashwagandha
Alpha-GPC
Cognizin
Cod liver oil
Bacopa monnieri
Vitamin b12, D,
Biotin
Collegen
L-Arginine
Pollen powder

There’s actually a few more as well. Hah.

Anyway I train 4-6 days a week. Just working on strength rather than size. As I said I don’t want to be jacked but I do want to be strong.

What’s your training split, can you give me an example of your most recent workout? Whats your cardio regiment throughout the week as well? Do you track your calories/macros?
There’s guys with more knowledge on here who I will let comment on the long list of supplements, but seems a little overkill and from a financial standpoint that money could be better used elsewhere or saved. The more detail of your day to day activities via your calories consumed, type of training you did, and any cardio you did, helps know where to critique you.

Last workout was
Barbell 85kg 3x5
Goblet squats 24kg extra weight on slopes 3x10
Dumbbell bench press 18kg 3x10
Dumbbell shoulder press 18kg 3x10
Rowing 8 min moderate 1.17km HR130

I do know I take waaay to many supplements but they make me feel good and I’m not sure what ones to drop/cycle and when they run out I stop using certain ones.

I’m in recovery from 40yr drug addiction and am 10m clean and feel the best I’ve every done so while I admit there’s probably a lot of overkill it’s working for me at this moment.

Looking to start HGH when I return from the holiday at the start of may and maybe adding a couple of other things to encourage fat loss and muscle gain as well.
My testosterone was through the floor 6 weeks ago at 6nml but now is up to 17 and having met new gf looking to get that right.

I also try to keep calories at around 1750-2200 per day. Most of the time it’s below 2000 but last few weeks I’ve been eating like a dog and although staying the same weight more or less I’m not shifting things downward. Anyway. If there’s anything else people want to know just ask. TIA

Hgh would be the next addition in my openion if your wanting to build your stack.

You could possibly even benifit from a one week diet break (don't eat like a fatty but let yourself have some extra rice or chicken just for a week) but that depends on how long you have been dieting for straight.

Could also consider fasting @stevesmi is kind of the master there

If it's just one week enjoy a little bit keep it in check you don't want to binge.

Then when your back home back on the horse and keep pushing sometimes you just need that week distressed the body

Over 6 months they alone can truly change someone's body.

You could be a Mexican from Mars bro. To me it does not matter. Help is always given here on ef. If you are going to do what ever your want protocol wise just take a second to listen to those who comment and make suggestions. Havnt had to loose weight in the way you have had to but I've been here and around and seen what truly works long term 👊
 
DT.. less than a year ago I was a dead man. Seriously obese. BP over 200 and completely fucked after 40’years of misuse and abuse of my mind and body. Today I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. I’ve just gone up to 12 on Reta. Been using it for 3/4 months now and felt the hunger coming back over the last few weeks. I may even go back to tirz bc I’ve heard it’s a better appetite suppressant than R.
Running HCG to prevent testicle shrinkage and also bc have a hard time ejaculating ..well you know. Hah.
Not quite ready to give up the juice just yet.

Not to mention the mental and cognitive benefits you can get from a couple days of carb cycle/refeed, just gotta be ready to grind afterwards to put that refeed to use. I recently started HGH on this cycle as recommended from DT and others (which is my first AAS cycle) and it definitely helps your recovery and fat loss phase. Pricey but motsc and slupp332 don’t even compare in the benefits. Can’t speak on ss31 as I haven’t used it

There all tools and most things are dosage dependant. I'm sure your tube would change doing 150mg of slu pre fasted cardio. 😂. Shit is off tap
