Let's get real here. Clint Eastwood doesn't make movies anymore. He makes the most pathetic, overly dramatic tear jerkers possible, in a sad attempt at an Oscar nod every year.

I couldn't name a single Oscar winner or contender since Pulp Fiction/Forrest Gump fought it out in 1994.

It's all ultra-gay arthouse crap, even gayer foreign films, or worst of all, shit adapted from horrible books by below average actors-turned-directors (the very untalented Sandra Bullock comes to mind).
 
Apparently this guy is some sort of huge liar as well. He was sued for putting a part in his autobiography about punching out Jesse Ventura in a bar after Ventura insulted SEALS. Ventura won $1.8 million as this never happened.

He also claims to have shot and killed 2 guys who supposedly tried to carjack him, however there are no police reports or news reports on it at all. The bodies just disappeared...
 
Pretty shitty way he died though. To think, after being shot 3 times in a 3rd world shithole & surviving multiple Ied's, he gets murdered in TX.
 
Cool, well in that case his wife gave him an ultimatum to retire and be a family man, or take the kids and run.

He retired and started a non profit to take guys with ptsd out shooting to blow off steam. A young kid He took out shot and killed him.

Sandra in Gravity or Sandra in that white people save black people movie? I thought She was very good in Gravity. What did she direct?

Gone Girl was pretty good. Boyhood looks great. I can't wait to see that one.

I can't believe Reese is nominated again. She is not believable to me in any role than cute but dumb blonde trying to be a lawyer to win back heR ex.

Reese Witherspoon? She has only made one remotely decent movie ever. Freeway, and that was 20 years ago.
 
I don't know. I'm not interested in seeing American Sniper. I do not like war movies. I hate the negative/suspenseful/traumatized feelings I get from watching them. I am not entertained by watching so many people die and I don't know how realistic the movies are because I have no experience with it. I'm too disturbed.

I love movies about natural disasters and can easily watch people die in earthquakes and plagues and be entertained, but I can't do the war movies.

Unforgiven is one of my favorite movies of all time.
 
Same here, but it's been all downhill every since. Even Gran Turino turned to shit about half way thru.

It was a decent movie, but a little heavy handed.
