Seriously considering moving to NYC after New Years. Would like to know of a gym that isn't 99% pussies/posers like most commercial gyms. I would also need to learn how to use the train. The DC Metro train system was really easy to use , but I'm sure NYC's is more complex... Any thoughts?

the subway is really easy to use, I find that the 6 takes you to every damn corner you need. Can you afford your own place or are you looking for a roomate? Checkout Roosevelt Island. Only draw back is the air tram stops at 2a.m.

The NY Subway system is easy. Even if you get lost, they've got maps up everywhere.

Going to price that out this week. Only reason I'm heading the roommate direction is cause I've been living by myself for years. There is some security in numbers if you know what I mean.

After researching Roosevelt Island on Wiki now I found out what Queensbridge was. I listen to NAS records talking about he from Queensbridge.

Will check the train maps out

the airtram stopping at 2a.m. can be a deal breaker for many, but there is social life on the island, bars restaurants, etc does suck if you get stuck in NYC at 1:50.a.m. Room in Rossevelt Island can be around $900ish, which by NY standards isnt bad.

There's no bridge/tunnel a cab can take to get around that? I definitly need a map now
900 a month? No not bad at all.

The examination to become a London cabby is possibly the most difficult test in the world — demanding years of study to memorize the labyrinthine city’s 25,000 streets and any business or landmark on them.

aside from the NO and NYC...which other geographical locales dont you like? or, would the list of places you actually like be shorter?

i know i know..."you like dick fgt" or something like that right?

I actually like NOLA (at least during mardi gras). It was the airport that I thought was a shithole. Also, I've been all over this shithole cuntry (and a decent chunk of the world too) and I've discovered that I like home best.

Fuck you hate everything

Actually, I picked up some Terrapin Moo hoo in FL last week and I loved it. So now GA is officially on my nice list.

I work for the distributor of the stuff for most of Georgia and I didn't even get my hands on any of it.

Shit sells out as soon as it comes in. I'll be quicker to grab some next run.

Total Wine in FL was pretty impressive. Half the beer there isn't available in CA. I could've spent all week there.

you can always tell whos a manhattan rookie when they start asking where they can put their car when they think about moving there
