Maybe she got back on her feet shortly after all of that happened. If I'm not mistaken she offered to pay you back as soon as she could in plat one day and you told her not to worry about it.

I'd hate to know I borrowed something from someone and was gonna be reminded about it every time I bought something in the future

Unless there was a 2nd run of DNP that I don't know about, she bought and used it long before the financial woes become too much. She worked 3 (or 4) jobs when I first started talking to her.

Shirl is okay, she is posting on another forum. I wanna say though, when she was down and out, the assholes here that ran her off are the same assholes that got together and helped her out. I was really encouraged by that. She may not have liked being reminded of it, and that's fine, but it is what it is. I do hope she comes back and says hi from time to time.

I wasn't even talking about the father. I don't know him and I'm not taking any sides in the matter. I was merely speaking on the fact that shirl acted extremely childish and spiteful towards her daughter by doing that shit.

Probably the most angry I've been in the last couple of years was going through my teenage niece's room (which I hated to do from a respecting boundaries perspective) and finding nearly 5-600 dollars worth of clothes/bathing suits and underwear she had stolen from me. Mostly underwear. I get hot just remembering it.
