So, wut was the person's ethnicity?

It's not completely off base....
Hispanic = related to Spain or Portugal. The ethnicity Spanish or Portuguese people would be Caucasian , correct?

Those people then hopped on boats and then settled in North and South America , correct? So Caucasians claimed much of Central and South America as Spanish territories correct? Also much of the southern US has a Spanish heritage correct?

The term "Moors" has also been used in Europe in a broader sense to refer to Muslims, especially those of Arab or African descent, whether living in Spain or North Africa. Moors are not a distinct or self-defined people. Medieval and early modern Europeans applied the name to the Berbers, North African Arabs, Muslim Iberians[2] and West Africans from Mali and Niger who had been absorbed into the Almoravid dynasty.[3] Scholars observed in 1911 that "The term 'Moors' has no real ethnological value."

I don't think those who were under the command of the Monarch of Spain or Portugal were muslim at all. They should have been Anglo Saxon Christians. Never the less , the term moor could mean someone of Arab ie Asain decent not necessarily someone 1/2 black

the monarchs were the ones who lost territory to the moors. yes, they were muslim/arab, but take a wild guess where most of their army came from... these people merged with the existing population, as was also the case in sicily.

so they were mixed race headed toward a new continent filled with exclusively non-whites. they merged with the people there, and i rest my case. i know they weren't technically half black, but they weren't purely caucasian either. lets not get caught up on semantics.

I'm not arguing that moors were muslim arab. As the wiki page states "moor" is not an ethnicicy at all. I'm arguing at the time of the explorations 1400 AD and on the ethnicity of people who were doing the explorations. This would have been people led by a Spanish or Portuguese Monarchy. Mixed race, yes, but probably those who would identify themselves as Caucasian

The races certainly mixed once settlements in North and South America were created under Spanish rule
 
their conquest of the region took place in the 700's AD and lasted for over 300 years. they controlled almost the entirety of spain and portugal for a long ass time. and sure it's not an ethnic designation, but the majority of their army was african.

You talk to an actual atty and see how it goes if you said you were followed and possibly harassed by a person, and then beat the ever loving shit out of them without being physically assaulted first. I guarantee this kid would have been arrested for curfew (gay), disturbing the peace, trespassing (at first) and definitely felony assault. Fatty got beat and killed him because he lost. Bad situation.

Not to mention your charges don't make any sense based on what we do know.

Curfew in Sanford , Florida only applied to 16 and under.....

We also know that Witness No. 9 accused Zimmerman of molesting her when they were children. The relative’s revelation is appalling but irrelevant. What most folks don’t know is that Witness No. 9 made an explosive allegation against her cousin. “I know George. And I know that he does not like black people,” she told a Sanford police officer during a telephone call in which she pleaded for anonymity. “He would start something. He’s a very confrontational person. It’s in his blood. Let’s just say that. I don’t want this poor kid and his family to just be overlooked.” At the end of the call, Witness No. 9 urged the officer to “get character reports from other people and see if he’s ever said anything about black people, about being racist or anything like that because I guarantee you there’s somebody out there who will say it.”

Nuff said. Just got tired of reading this Trayvon attacked first stuff. There's enough negative pub against him to show that he probably attacked first due to his racism

I'm so torn on this.....Zimmerman seems docile and laid back when he talks, but I think he's one of those "double personality" types.
He called the cops so much cause he was on neighborhood watch, but that should not even be relevant.
I think this guy was an explosion waiting to happen.
Even if he was racist, doesn't mean he's a killer. Many people are racist but won't ever kill anyone. It seems to me Zimmerman was trying to play cop, got a run for his money cause Trevon was not going to be harassed and one thing leads to another.

He's not just a racist , he violent and confrontational. The witnesses in the case will point this out.
This is a circumstantial case where all of this character flaws will cause the jury to make a decision. In this case , I believe it's guilty.
 
It would not be the first time someone's kind demeanor fooled me. I'm a sucker for the "underdog" and it's got me into a lot of hot water in my life. but I've learned to identify "double characters" pretty well and can say, it seems like that would apply here. He is prob an aggressive angry character.
May sound far fetched, but he's gained tons of weight in jail where most would lose weight from the amount of stress. In my teaching of mind/body, this is an indication of repression. He cannot force his stance and lost all control so his food is his only control. Then last night on some show some pysch said those who gain weight under stress are contrived.
When we just watch, we learn. Actions not words right
 
Some people have multiple personality disorders , but I don't believe that's the issue here. The man is violent as the witnesses will point out. He has committed domestic violence , assaulting police officers and molestation. IMHO the dude is a wacko or a creepy ass murder as I said in another thread
 
Well at least now we won't have to pay for his future food stamps, dozen illegitimate children and prison/legal costs.
