I dunno about his ride nor care, he had me at "I used to muay thai kick wild dogs to the face on my way to work every morning". That visual stayed with me for days, ngr had me falling out.

I too am baffled at the amount of 1%ers here. Is there a screening process?

How did bino and I slip through the cracks?

I'm 26 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, my brother the same in Electrical Engineering.

Do I really come across as Naive? Hmmm... Probably just because I grew up in mormon Utah culture, I have a different perspective and line of thinking. I lived in Chile for 2 years without anything but basic necessities. I've been out and seen a very different world from my own.

I have a few baller items, but I'm not in debt nor do I have monthly payments on anything besides cell phone and insurance. Lucky for me, my dad is a super baller and owns 5 houses and I live in one of them for free, my siblings in the others. I'm the only one that is single.

What do you do? I thought you were a gym teacher but the engineering degree is throwing me off

The only thing I really take piece of mind in having money is that my future family isn't going to struggle paycheck to paycheck stressing about paying bills. My kids will be taken care of, but not spoiled. I was raised to work for what you get. When I was young, my parents were poor and it was hard on my parents. I wasn't underprivileged really, but we didn't have much. As my Dad got promoted through the years clear up to an executive making serious freaking bank, things changed, but that wasn't until high school did my dad roll high. I drove a 10 year old car, but it was cool. 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT with Nitrous. Chicks begged for a ride in the "NOS car" hahaha!

Anyways, having money is nice. I like the expensive cars, but if I had to go without, I'd be fine with it. I'll probably sell both when I get married anyways, whenever that is.

Oh, hahaha.

I coach high school baseball, but I work full time as an engineer.

I coach at the high school I played at. I was All-State as a pitcher as a Sophomore, Junior and Senior. I jacked my elbow up and my friend Mark Pawlek went on as the #1 draft pick as I hung up my cleats because my elbow took a dump on me. D1 Scholarships and potential draft pick disappeared in a real hurry. I had it made because my pitching coach, Rick Anderson, got called up to the MLB as the pitching coach for the Twins from the AAA SLC team, and they were gonna sign me into A Ball right out of high school with a solid signing bonus. Not exactly Bryce Harper, but maybe top 75 for the year.

The plan was the big leagues in time, but it wasn't in the cards I guess.

So, I coach now and love doing it.

I would've taken you yard. Just sayin

Probably. I was terrible. Hahaha. I was more of a Greg Maddux type than a Nolan Ryan. I could bring it 93 if I wanted to, but I worked location and control. I walked 4 batters my entire Junior year. I could burn it past high school kids obviously, but I worked ahead in the count then made them chase something crappy off the plate.

If that doesn't work out you could always make Joe Rogan look alike guest appearances

Cool story alert. I hit two HRs in one AB once. Highlight of my career.

Pitcher grooved one down the middle and I smashed it 400+ ft but some little kid threw a tennis ball onto the field and time had been called. Shit didn't count. Pitcher was talking shit, "won't happen again, blah blah" as i came across the field from my trot. A few pitches later he fooled me with a curve that i popped up down the line but it carried about 1 foot past the 335 ft left field corner. Coolest story you'll ever hear

I had to get a second job just to make ends meet, in all fairness I do have a house, 2 cars and just moved here 3 yrs ago, but the house was pure luck

Mechanical Engineering always pays well. M5 though? I could never justify something like that...

Ok that sort of thing would make owning an M5 not that hard actually.

Mitch's dad?

On the real you have to have a pretty cushy life style to hang on a fucking chat forum all day, I mean put two an two together and it usually equals ballin. Except for me of course I'm a red neck retard from the trailer park, who's neighbor hijacks internet access from the trailer park manager for free and shit.

lol i know rick anderson he hasnt coached high school ball im confused on how he was your pitching coach if you were never drafted

Rick coached AAA in Salt Lake for the Twins organization before going up to the bigs.

He did private lessons on the side.

Pitchers are all a bunch of faggot ass poosies anyways, who gives a fuck

On a manly note Baby Beezekiel hit back to back jacks yesterday. He's a very humble 8 for 10 with 4 homers in 3 games and 11 RBI's and he don't even like baseball anymore.

I'm surprised at how many people here, don't realize how much $$$$$ this sport of bodybuilding costs... Especially if you joose! Try $2500-$3500/month with food, gym, supps, blood tests and other things we won't specifically list, and also all the we spend working out, which is TIME NOT EARNING. It's a long-term commitment which will DWARF the cost of owning (or leasing) any vehicle. It's not cheap. Nobody here on this forum is poor, if they're here because they're partaking in what we're all about. Or if they are poor, they're running up a huge debt!

It's all about priorities, and I choose mine carefully. As far as how rich or poor someone is, you can't tell by what the drive or where they live. There are oil tycoons with $10s of millions in the bank, who buy used Walmart-quality clothes on eBay, and drive used Chevys and Toyotas, and there are people without a pot to pee in, who drive new Mercedes and Lamborghinis, and get upset if somebody left the light on in an unused room for too long.

supps/protein 100
bloods-$20 copay

not even a grand...but obviously i'm not a pro but neither is 99% of the folks who joose and live the lifestyle

and dbg is it really fair to claim a mech eng degree when it
was obtained from a non accredited bob jones moromny style college?
and lemme guess, your dad is in the used car business?
by far the most lucrative e-profession.
all kidding aside, cheers to your success :rainbow:

I thought you hate them ricer's ? dont ever bad mouf a supra a gain mudderfucker

The 3000gt was not a ricer car.

Okay, yeah it was.

But, it wasn't some civic 4 banger piece of crap

Supra, 300ZX and 3000GT were legit performance cars. They were going up against ferrari and porsche back in their day.

Integra, Civic, Prelude, Del Sol, Sentra, etc. are the real ricer pieces of crap. They are econoboxes that people try to make cool but suck.

Maybe I should have clarified on that: My "joosing" is legit HRT through an endocrinologist, and that's where the big $ for AAs is racked up. Each doctor visit is $500, and each hormone workup (blood labs) is $1800, and T-cyp is (against rules to state on EF forums, but up there!) And I'm adding in the lost wages for the 8 hours/week during the day to work out, and all true related costs. It all totals $37,440.00 for the year ($3120 avg per month) on my '12 taxes as "medical and therapy" and as "club dues" and some non-deductible items.

Sure it can all be had for less, by internet and by not fooling around with medical supervision, etc... I'm not the only one here to do it this way, and that's the cost of it all when done this way :xeye:

Charles

My dad is on HRT and it costs about $4K a year for him.

I think you need a new approach bro.

I will jack your dad for his hrt shit, we can split it if you want.

Hubby is on TRT and pays even less than that, legit t-cyp, Dr visits and lab work, insurance covers most

Dude , I spend more then $400 a month on food and I'm not even an amateur bodybuilder... I don't buy Legal Seafood steamed lobster tails either. More like pumpkin seeds, Macademias, dried cherries and golden raisins by the pound at Wegmans cost $100 just in one day.

I'd be completely debt free including an M5 too...if I didn't have a mortgage.

mortgage in latin = death grip

living costs are the most expensive for myself so I would definitely be nice if those were erased, so I envy you.
If I remember correctly I was the one who called you out on the M5.

Lol, ya it was you. That was like 5 years ago.

Next year I'm probably selling the mustang and either buying the new Corvette or the new Mustang, depending on how the 50th Anniversary Mustang looks. It's been kept under wraps tightly. I've been waiting to see it in person before I decide.

I'm not planning on selling the M5 for a long time.

Even if had had 7 figure income if wouldn't go crazy buying cars. I would rather own investments or own a gym or a few gyms. MMA is big right now , owning an mauy thai or jiu jitsu gym might be a money maker if you had the right teachers.

More power to you.

I intend to drive my 92 LS400 for another five years at least, maybe ten. I love cars but there's nothing wrong with this one. I'm going to lower it and put on some bigger rims sometime later this year. it's still only has 150,000 miles on it.

Just installed a new head unit with DVD, HD Radio, SiriusXM, Bluetooth and a backup camera.

Hoping to end up looking like this 98'ish year.

I have investments. Nothing crazy huge, but I do.

I have a solid job right now, I don't have any interest in starting my own business at the moment. I eventually want to do my own thing, but not right now. In a couple years I'll be able to have a house paid in full, then I'll look to do my own thing, or perhaps go into a business with my dad, who has been in talks with something real big right now. If it takes off, I'm jumping on board. It has potential to turn into $100 Mil in the next 5 years. This guy has some patents and some awesome product but has no clue how to run big business, so his growth has been stagnant for years. My dad ran business that thrived through a crappy economy in the consumer market. He's been doing it for 20 years.

So, if this works out I will be in, help get the company grown huge, make a salary while having been 100% vested in 2-3% of the company, which equals fat $$$ at 3% of 100 Mil.

Then I will do whatever the F I want for work doing my own thing.

Right now I'm doing okay in the gym. I'm 220 ish. I was clear down to 197 in October. I haven't been for a few weeks so I softened up a bit, but I'm still looking decent, ...with a shirt on.
