First Cycle Please Help

Goal: 10-15lbs of lean muscle and to gain some strength.

I was thinking of starting with Test E 250 or 500 to get my feet wet.

I have been working out for about 5 years now mainly just to be in good physical condition for the Army, the last 2 years I started lifting for mass and each time I get passed 175 I start gaining more fat than anything else and nothing is worse than being skinnyfat. So if you guys could please help me I will honestly listen research every piece of advice.

Also I read Anabolics 101 and the importance of proper PCT but I am on a budget so I was wondering what is the minimum I could get by with.

It sounds to me like your diet needs work and possibly your training too. I think its way too early in the game to use anabolics.

Asking what is the minimum acceptable PCT also is a problem. The PCT is more important than the cycle itself.

at 5'10" and 172 you can gain 25 lb YOURSELF without taking a shortcut. I would wager by your stats that you dont diet properly to gain mass. Nor do you train properly or with enough intensity/mind muscle connection to promot serious growth. If you did you would be posting 190-200 lb not 172.

If you are worried about AAS on a budget and "what is the minimum you can get by with" for PCT then you have no business using AAS. Your not financially or menatlly ready for the commitment you need to make. A bottle or two of test is cheap. Proper PCT will cost way more than the actual drugs.
Spend your money on FOOD. Lots of the RIGHT food.

I eat around 2750-3000 daily, problem is everyone says to just eat more and sure the scale goes up but its obvious its just BF. That being said I would say my training is pretty solid focus on mainly all compound movements and don't use machines. And my intensity is at the level it needs to be any higher and ill hurt myself. What pisses me off is I see people making gains with shitty technique and spending half their session texting im just tired of being average at best.

Your right about the budget thing I wish I could afford it but times are rough im going through college right now.I didn't say I wouldnt get the proper gear I was just asking what the minimum I could get by with safetly.

So damn true. I have friends ask for me to set them a cycle up. They usually change their mind after I tell them PCT, support supps., and ESPECIALLY food costs. The food cost me more than any of it.

I learned the hard way AAS is an "all in" game. Can't cheat it.

If money is an issue and you run test and var instead of a huge primo dose wk then thats one thing. If you have a budget, thats fine. But you need to get EVERYTHING up front. Cycle, PCT ancillaries, ect. Then you can focus your cash on food. You need to be able to afford to eat the right foods and enough of them.

you have no business whatsoever running anything trying to get by on bare minimums or taking short cuts... if money is an issue, then you need to wait until its not... you will end up hurting yourself, wasting money, time, etc... this is a very expensive lifestyle...

You were right the problem was in my diet. So thanks for the reality check. I will fix up my diet and hopefully next time you talk to me I will be 190lbs with 10% bf and financially prepared. My plan was to buy all the stuff for PCT at the same time I got my test, I've read to many times about how important PCT is.

I've gained 24 lbs since I started working out but it has been slow. It's hard when you see everyone walking around ripped with 6 packs (Came close but never had a real defined set of abs) because I workout just as hard as anyone maybe even harder. You pick up a fitness magazine and its obvious they are all juicing so you can't follow any of the routines and expect to get the results they claim. Im not bitching just looking at it from a natty point of view.

So I guess I have two questions. Why is it so important to build a good base? and is there any other supplements that would help me out that you reccomend?

Supps : Whey gold standard, creatine 5g, flaxseed oil 1000mg, multi
