Well technically if you're 3 weeks pregnant, then that means you just ovulated ~1 week ago and its likely you wouldn't even have an implanted fertilized egg yet, let alone a + pregnancy test

This entire thread disgusts me. He's just as irresponsible as she is. Whether she's on the pill or not if he didn't want kids he shouldn't be fucking her with no condom. Abortion is not birth control, and everybody in this thread whether you're a parent or not is just throwing it out there like it's not a big deal, yes it is an option but it should be one that is looked at objectively, not she's pregnant I fucked up, let's go get an abortion. so what's going to happen if he keeps fucking or without a condom and she gets knocked up again is she just going to get an abortion. 23 is old enough to understand what can happen if you do that,and if she has insurance why doesn't she carries a kid to term then put it up for adoption, give someone who doesn't have the ability to have kids a chance.

I just had my own "illegitimate" child two months ago, and i'm really glad i did. Not that it isn't difficult but it's worth it. Just my experience. I was an adopted baby myself FTR. Glad i wasn't vaccumed. Just saying. And also for the record, i wasn't even dating his mother at the time, so you're situation would be much better than mine even IMO.
 
Personally, I think if you are too irresponsible or financially unable to support a child - you should be sterilized by the state
 
You should be sterilized as a child and upon making so much per year, being in a stable relationship for so long, and other proof of deserving a child you can apply for a treatment to make you temporarily fertile... Or something like that... Or we need more people like Patrick Bateman.

I'm all for abortion, it's true, but I'm not against child birth. What does disgust me is people having kids knowing these kids are going to be brought up in horrible conditions. (not the case with this), but in other cases.

How would you feel if two drug users, douche bags abusive assholes make a baby, knowing this baby has little chance at a good life, could be born addicted etc......abort or bring a soul into this world who will suffer HORRIBLY! what do you think?

I'm for abortion in a case where the woman is raped or is sexually abused by a family member, or is on drugs and that child will be born with a horrible disease, but to use it as a form of birth control because 2 grown ass adults Fucked up, is what I'm against. I agree with you 100% on the douchebags reincarnating, but these 2 knew what they were doing when she "forgot" to take her pill and he didn't use a condom.
 
Ok just want to make it clear on here were not some inbred white trash I am a contractor and do pretty well so does my Gf she is an RN takes home 800 a week we currently live in an apartment and are saving to build a house we have almost enough saved that I feel comfortable building it and we do plan on getting married at some point just not now and I know it sounds bad but a baby will really put a damper on our plans I am in a position to build my dream home and my girl has been very excited so we have opted for the abortion I hope you guys and gals don't feel different about me thank you so much I signed up here for steroid information but found some great people in the process great support thankyou

That sounds great and all but you should of thought about the consequences of having sex without a condom. That's my point. if you knew you were not ready for kids right now neither one of you should of put yourself in a position where there was a chance you could have one.

I don't even believe in god, it's simply my opinion of something another person put on an open forum on the internet. I understand his point of view and it's great, the only thing that I'm saying is it's sickening how people think abortion is just another form of birth control. Been there done that, we were very young and we could NOT afford it, her parents convinced her it was the right thing to do and my say in the matter didn't go far, she came crawling back not very long after full of regret and to this day her life is shit, not good, all I want to stay is if he wants to be with her in the long run and it sounds like he can afford it then killing his kid will kill them as a couple also, men defend their families and the woman they love and woman need to be loved and have their family protected, having an abortion will subconsciously fuck them both up, she won't be able to look at him as the protector he should be and he will probably in the long run question how this woman that's supposed to be the center of his world and love him could kill his kid, deeply psychological and I may be wrong for this guy but I may also be the only guy with this perspective, people will do what they're gonna do, I just feel obligated to give my point of view since he's in a tough spot an the easy way out in this case at least for me was anything but that, not self righteous, just don't want this guy to loose it all because some idea of his perfect life isn't happening in the order he thought it should and so he takes things into his own hands and breaks the whole thing
 
Sorry to butt in guys, first post from a long time lurker but this kinda hit a nerve!! I've been there and went the abortion route, that girl is now my wife of twelve and a half years and we have two beautiful girls!! Thing is, if your indecisive you have to do two things stfu and listen to what she wants and needs, thats if your in it for the long haul! I was gobsmacked wen we found out back then all i could do was listen and be supportive! Guys can argue their rights a much as they want and yes you have a say but you need to really be there for the entirety of that life!! I guess all i'm saying is this is a personal decision the two of you need to come to, it can work out! I wish you all the best, tough time but isn't that what life is all about?

abortion was illegal in the US at one time. so women either went to other countries to get them done or went into alley's with back alley doctors and had it done. what i don't get about the anti-choice crowd is they want to make laws to ban something. steroids are illegal in the US too unless you have a script, yet every single one of you anti-choicers on this thread use them. point being making abortion illegal won't stop it, it will still happen. but it will be more dangerous for the mother and its just another way for right wingers to step on womens rights.

the best way to stop abortion is to stop unwanted pregnancies. so why not provide easier access to birth control.. condoms, morning after pill (which is being banned in some states), and sex education. i think i read something that abortions are actually down from 10 years ago.. that is a good thing and its thanks to more and more young people using contraception, something that used to be frowned on years ago by the religion crowd
