Ok here we go bro. 25 weeks lets see if we can do this. SL 5x5 workout.

Monday
BBL squat (used smith machine due to pain in the right side of my groin)
1.) 25 both sides
2.) 35 both sides
3.) 45 both sides
4.) 55 both sides
5.) 65 both sides

BBL bench (NOT using smith)
1.) 15 both sides
2.) 20 both sides
3.) 25 both sides
4.) 30 both sides
5.) 35 both sides

BBL bent over rows
1.) 5
2.) 10
3.) 15
4.) 20
5.) 25

Food log:
Breakfast: 4 pancakes. Protein bar

So don't try to up the first set of bench in weights? I don't follow exactly what you're saying.

When you do your sets, dont change the weights on each set. Do each set at the same wieght.
Now this 5x5 does not include your warm up sets.
So your working sets for each excersize will all be at the same weight..
So say your WU looks like this,
BBL Flat Bench
Warm Up
1x20 at bar only
1z10 at 55 Lbs
1x8 at 85 Lbs
1x5 at 100 Lbs
1x3 at 105 Lbs

WORK SETS
5 SETS OF 5 REPS AT 135 Lbs.
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135
Now your all done with your bench so move on to your next excersize and do the same.
In your case you are gonna do BBL Rows after bench. The bench press warmed up your shoulders pretty good. So it could look something like this for you.

BBL Bent Over Row
Warm Up
1x20 at bar only
3x3 at 85 Lbs

Work Sest
5x5 at 135 Lbs
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135
1x5 at 135

And thats it bro. Your done for the day cuz you did your squats before you did your flat bench just like it says in the layout that I gave you.

Dude I know you have to work up to eating big. But just so you know this is not eating big.

Every morning with your breakfast I need for you to eat MEAT along with your breakfast stuff.
So you rbreakfast should look something like this.
1 8-12 oz porkchop or sirloin steak or 2 large slices ham or 6 pcs Canadian bacon.
6 whole eggs
2 pcst toast or jumbo bagel with penut butter and honey
16 oz whole milk

Snak
Protein shake, 2 heaped scoops protein in whole milk with 1 heaped tablespoon of peanut butter.
Peanut butter sandwich.

Lunch
Really fuckin big sandwich with 12-16 oz meat. Add cheese and lettuce.
or
Smaller sandwich but same stuff on it. 2 hard boiled eggs, 16 oz whole milk. 2 handfulls mixed nuts but no peanuts.

Snak
Shake as above but only 1 scoop. Peanut butter sandwich.

Dinner
All the meat you can hold. Salad with vinegar / olive oil dressing and a small sweet potatoe or a regular one is fine too. Or could sub brown rice if you wanna.

Snak
16 oz glass of whole milk and peanut butter sandwich.

If you wake up at night then have another lite meat sandwich.

This is eating like you need to eat bro.

You are rail thin bro not just lean. Am not being a shit to you man but you already know this so lets put slabs of muscle on your bod.

Really the worst thing at Mc Ds is the fries as far as health is concerned.
 
Straight up heavy cream with no milk? Sounds like a good puke. Haha

If you make it with water, then throw in some heavy cream- I've never tried cream and milk. It ends up being too many calories for me cuz I like to eat solid food than drink my calories.

Also- 100g protein powder (chocolate)
6 table spoon peanut butter
4tbsp honey
1-2 bananas

Adds 1200 calories to your day and it tastes good- fairly good for you too with the nutrients in peanut butter n bananas (if you're worried about eating healthy)

Mix that up in two big servings, throw in fridge and drink thru out day. May want to toss in some fiber like flaxseed to keep you regular.
 
Hey thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to try it out. Sounds downright nasty but hell ill eat dog food if it packed on weight!

Also do you know the amount of cream and water I should add?

Yeah that's why the big shake recipe was suggested lol I forgot about that.

Btw Bsdr- you can tone down the protein powder in the recipe I gave you- it's something I used during school year when my class schedule was from 8:15am till 5:30pm and I had a stockpile of protein powder I had gotten at a steal price.

And yes.....stretching like a mother fucker is very important!!!!! Weighted stretching is important too but needs to be done correctly and with caution. Even learning a few yoga poses to help stretch. Tight knotted hip flexors suck ass!

Also....the vid I posted....look on their channel...they have a rotator cuff video. Watch it. Learn from it. Do the excercises!!! Better to start with shoulder strengthening ahead of time than to do nothing like I did and be in your mid 30's and constantly having to babysit shoulders.

I saw a video with a guy getting a broom stick and holding it in front of him then snapping it behind his back to stretch his shoulders... It looks painful... Kinda scared to try that

You dont snap it bro...just rotate nice and easy. That is a great stretch/strengthening tool. BUT....just use a fitness band not a broom stick. The fitness band will allow your shoulders to move as they need to with added resistance pulling them apart. Wont be so akward. Blue or black fitness band is fine.

I used to do that with a towel. I feel the towel is better cuz its not rigid.
Then you just rotate it slowly over your head and behind your back. Only go as far as is comfortable or you can fuck youself up bigtime.
 
Super fucking stoked about today's workout! Last time I benched it was 105 and I had a lot of struggle on the last set of 5x5. Today I easily pumped out 115 for 5x5! New PR! Also went from 115 on squat to 125 and bent over rows from 75 to 85 and easily pumped those out! Again thanks zed for this awesome program! Super stoked to see my progress in 6 months! My goal is to get up to 225 on bench for 5x5 and 350 on squat 5x5!

Hey man you'll make solid progress for a few months but keep in mind, progress isn't always linear. Just dropping in to say that so you don't get discouraged if for a week or two the weight isn't budging like it is now.
 
Yeah I know. I don't get easily discouraged. But I never settle for less than I could or should be doing :P

Nah the whole point is to regularly have progressive overload- the more you jump up, more likely you are to stall- that's why some guys have micro plates- like 1lb plates- muscle have reason to grow if you press 150 this week for 3x8 n next week you press 152 for 3x8.

Hey bro dont get discouraged. I think you may have started all of your weights on the high side but we all learn from our mistakes.
Next bench session use this same weight. If you still have probs we will incorporate something else for you. I need for you to really work hard on getting your BBL rows up more nearly to your benching weight too.

When you squat go all the way down ass to ankles, until you literally can't squat anymore, do it with no weight tojudge where to put the sissy bar. Some will argue going that low but most will agree

Typically I would agree with you bro but not in this case for the SL 5x5 and our bro big B.
For him right now its all about gaining strength and size. So its Power Squat style for him IMO.
 


Ok your squat is good but still room for improvement bro.
In pic 1 you should punch your ass out backwards just a lil bit. This will get you to lead with your ass. What this does is gets you to use your glutes.

In pic 2 Keep your back dished. Your not quite rounded but that looks like it could become an issue for you as weights go up.

In pic 3 cant really see how low you are....but I do see that it looks like your right knee is caving in. Make sure that you pay attention to that and dont let it do that.

Over all very good tho. These are just little things that will protect you as the weight increases.

Oh my goodness... I just made up an AWESOME SNACK!

King size snickers bar, get a big spoon and out a big chunk of peanut butter on the end for each bite. Took me about 8 bites to eat it and a lot of peanut butter. Tasted AMAZING

For you at your size its ok once or twice a week.
Hold weight on bench press till your rows catch up.
If you wanna do another set or 2 on bench, it wont hurt.

As long as his protein intake is high, and he's getting nutrient dense food into his body, a candy bar won't do much. Especially considering his metabolism. Eat right 90% of the time and you'll be fine.

Been hard to eat lately with this whole restaurant. Parents keep me up there all day working to get it together. Finally got a day where I could eat breakfast.

Would it be smart to grab a few pounds of big blast and mix some gear with it?

Its just as easy to get alot of clean calories as it is to eat alot of shit food.. I know your metabolism is fast and all but you should still eat clean.
