just set station to an good artist, cant really go wrong with common, delasoul, roots, ect.. other good music will follow. If pandora is being sucky, get some stations on jango.

or 50 cent station for more clubbly stuff i guess if that's what you were going for.

I've been in Louisiana alll week. Apparently the center channel has been changed to two 6x9s under each of the rear seats. And I did ask wtf was up with those black felt looking things stuck onto my fucking doors was. I must agree that doesn't look much like custom enclosures. I was told there was gonna be changes made. I have an ass of money tied up in this equipment alone. I will beat a muth fucker down if this shit looks bad or doesn't preform like its suppose to. I was gonna pick the car up at 9am tomorrow but was asked to give them an extra day to make the changes they say will be made. Ill post picks up of the finished deal for your expert opinion. We boys so I value what you say, so feel free to give me your honest opinion on this. I know you up to date so I wil need your advice on changes.

6x9 is a horrible speaker design, and the center channel has no business being in the rear of the car. It goes up front in center of the dash bro.
 
SB gonna have to gut the fuckin car by the time mitch is done schooling his ass on car stereo installation

Apparently the guy is fucking half stoned when I talk to him. Now he says its in the center console of the fucking car. I need you to fly out and go over this car obviously. Jesus fuck. Im really starting to worry about this shit. Hence the center channel should be in the center of the fucking car. And he has no idea why he told me it was 6x9s its suppose to be something else now. I didn't know they even still made 6x9s. Im going over there in the morning. Im sure ill be in jail by lunch

Getting a car hooked up with some component speakers, tweets, couple subs and a few amps, a cap, and a (bridge if needed) is not rocket science.

He was talking about power caps, which is basically an electrically charged storage cell that is used when the amp is pulling too much current and it boosts it back up.

Totally unnecessary if your electrical system is correct. I don't have one on my truck, and I can play it at full volume with the truck not running for hours at a time.
 
Cap = capacitor.
Provides a steady electron stream to the amplifer.
Always necessary in HIGH POWER circuits running off a single 12vDC battery.
This prevents lights dimming, and excessive draw from the battery during Bass/mid hits.

also, a power cap does not provide a steady stream of power. It's main purpose is to act as a "buffer" between the amp an the battery to prevent voltage drop under heavy load. Basically giving the battery a short lil break so it can keep up.


Again, upgrading your batteries, alt, and wiring is the correct way. Doing that means no need for a cap

I said steady stream of electrons.... Not Power.
preventing Voltage drop is a more accurate term.
Whether you believe in electron flow or hole flow. a capacitor is a place where the electrons build up on one plate and then flow through to the other plate after a predetermined charge (ie. 1 Farad).

Not having a cap and just raising running amps (by getting a bigger battery and alternator) of a vehicle is not efficient. Or cost effective, and dangerous on the stock vehicle electrical system. And there will still be excess current draw on said parts. And wear them out faster then normal.

yeah. I've seen huge ones used in vehicles that compete in SPL comps. BOOM baby.
