On Beezy F Jrs Cobra. Well I got a few pics of the latest up grdes in progress. Just dropped 10k on the custom sound system in this bitch. Should have finished product by this weekend. Here are a few pics of the in stalll in the early stages. Car has 20 speakers total with around 7k watts of power. Two pro series Alpine 15 inch subs. Five Phoneis Gold Amps. Viiper alarm with gps tracking remote start aand everything else you can get. Sony head unit with built in gps and wireless streaming and voice command controls. That's just a few of the things going on with the car right now

The frame is plywood dip shit the box is mostly gonna be lexan but he had to frame it out like that to support the weight of the subs for some reason. Idk why bitch

MDF is used for its high density (I know, M stands for medium) and low resonance factor.

SB, I personally like 12's better than 15's. I think you should have gone with 12's. They perform better in the upper range of frequencies and the lower range that the 15's go down to can't be heard anyway. You get a tighter bass. 15's always seemed sloppier to me.

The car is being professionally done bro. Place has a great rep so all I can do is go on their suggestions and they did suggest 12s but Beezy F jr the f is for four four forty said he wanted 15s. So Junior got 15s. I actually even bought 12s. Their in my closet in the box they came in. Wut

2-8" woofers on a center channel doesn't make any sense...Placing the 2 6" in the rear deck so close to the woofers is worthless. They're going to dround out from the 15s...It looks like you already have components..those are your midbase..wtf-who designed this setup?

I agree. That system is waaaaaaaayyyy overkill. If your son isn't going to compete in SPL contests (and he wouldn't win a decent one if he did with that system) then there's no sense in all that but to waste your money.

At one point, I had a single 10", 4 - 6.5 mid bass and 4 - 1" tweets, in an SUV, powered by a single Rockford Fosgate, Punch 40 DSM, bridged mono and bridged stereo and it sounded great. Plenty of power and great sound. Nice and clean. It was almost as good as another system I had which was the same thing except 2 - 12" subs (same mid bass and tweets) but powered by Phoenix Gold MPS2240, bridged mono and stereo as well.

In that small of a car, I agree. All that's needed in the rear is just fill. I'd dump the 15's for either a single 12 or two 10's too.

If you just want loud noise, the system as it is will be fine. I think it will sound like a mess at high volumes (compared to a different setup).

You could spend half as much or less and get better sound.
