Anyone else shop here?
Never been to BJ's or other stores like this, are they as good?

Costco has the highest quality of the warehouse places. Not quite as much variety as Sams club I think, but quality is a lot better. We have the Exec Membership and always get a nice check at the end of the year.

costco got a big box of salmon filets that are already in some kind of seasoning shits bom as fuk in the oven

WTF is BJ's?

I go to Costco, but I'll only go about 30 minutes before it closes on weeknights cause I can't stand to wait in lines, and it's hard as hell to cut in with those big ass carts. Costco on the weekend sucks. All the douchebags come out for free samples.

We don't have Costco here, I guess they're not welcome in Sam Walton's back yard. Sam's Warehouse is our nearest equivalent warehouse club store. I think they're probably a bit more downmarket than Costco. Great place to observe Mexicans and Pakistanis.

I actually sought one out after you praised them in another thread.
It's a lil bit of a drive for me but well worth it! I spend half the money i did in half the time.
Love that i can get everything i need in one place!
Thank you EZ!!!!
Costco FTW

I go there a lot. When I was still in the TV repair business in the 90s, I used to go there to buy brand-new TV sets for parts sometimes... Cheaper than I could order the parts from the mfr! I buy all of our household stuff there, and things like motor oil, car batteries (BEST return/warranty on car batteries of any store I know of). I do buy some food and drinking water there, but since it's only my wife and me at home, I can't really take advantage of buying 10 lbs of fresh meat or a 22" diameter pie.

A month ago, they had a deal on brand-name Muscle Milk 4 lbs for $30 (reg price $37 at Costco, and I think $40 online + shipping). That's the cheapest I've ever seen it, and they have an even bigger quantity of off-brand whey powder for about $18.

Gasoline: Not such a good deal when you save a dime per gallon, and you waste 20 minutes and waste a half gallon idling in line.

I love costco. I end up picking up tons of burgers and chicken there. Occasionally I get these awesome corned beef roasts as well

I just got a 6# bag of muscle milk from costco for under 40$. I get my fish oil there too.

If you're a good discount shopper like me, you will see Costco is not so great. Overprices on many things. They also don't sell enough Gluten free products (well the one in Canada).
The prices are good for a few items, but really, if you're a good shopper you can get same stuff elsewhere for cheaper than Costco.
I go once every 3 months (well more now cause BF likes it) to get a few things.

They have great products that I will actually eat.
#1 downfall is that they have almost no low sugar options :(

never been to one... is it true they sell caskets there? is it true you can get a 80 pack of kurieg (sp) k cups for 40 or cheaper?

would it be frowned upon there to load a open casket on to one of the flat carts but use the casket as a shopping cart, putting stuff in it??

Surely they don't actually keep them in stock at the stores.

Costco is too expensive for you

True for things like computers, jewelry, furniture... WAY overpriced and I've never bought those things there, and even the pharmacy needs to have prices checked against drug stores to be sure. But TVs and some big appliances are a good deal, and the return policy is ridiculously good. You can take something back a year later (not computers though), for any reason, no questions, and CASH back. So even if you might have to pay 10% more for a pressure washer for instance, than at WalMart or Home Depot, you can take it back in a year if it craps out, whereas you're on your own with it from those other stores. A case of looking beyond the price at the big picture...

YES! But you have to go to the desk and put an order, then I guess they hold it for you until needed, or maybe you can put it someplace. The do from time to time have caskets on display, but I've never seen them for cash & carry. I know a bro who has a '59 Cadillac hearse, and he bought a casket from Costco to put in it.
