ROFL @ Weiner showing his Weiner

mrplunkey

New member
Rep. Anthony Weiner Retains Lawyer Amid Frenzy Over Lewd Twitter Photo - FoxNews.com

So here's his official position:

1) He was hacked, but he doesn't want to report the crime (not wanting to file a false police report, huh?)

2) He didn't send the tweeted picture, but he can't confirm the picture of his junk in briefs isn't him (skeeeeeetchy!)

3) This short "follow" list includes a truckload of unremarkable, non-famous hottie chicks.

This is entertaining. It's terribly distracting from the real issues, but it's still entertaining.

He's made a complete mess of it. There's obviously a story behind the story.

He should just come clean and be done with it, even if it is very embarrassing.

I agree and yet if the reports are true and the pecker in the picture was really that small?!?! He may be more than willing to fall on the sword. Lol. I can't imagine what it might be like to be on the floor of the house trying to deliver a serious message about anything all the while knowing everyone in the room has seen your 2.5 inch pee-pee. Just move to Alaska and hope the eskimo girls don't have facebook.

Obviously the dong in question wasn't very note worthy. Because if it were over 7" he would be fessing up nonstop over it.

And really.... how many men out here wouldn't recognize their own cock?

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! So true! So true!!

lolololol and all claims regarding the penis will probably be settled in SMALL claims court,

Lmfao......omg

I am from NY so this joke is played out. I didn't think it was very funny. As just a tidbit for people who didn't know he went to college with Jon Stewart and they have been friends ever since.

The congressman isn't sure if that's his pic or not.

I think I'd remember if I ever did a crotch shot.

Naw, there's too many of the distractions and not enough focus on the issues.

of course, the Liberal media makes no mention that his twitter account was hacked via yfrog (which I'd never heard of before).

Is it a coincidence this "scandal" happened after Weiner sent a letter requesting that Justice Thomas recuse himself after lying about his wife's lack of income on his official disclosure form- for 20 years? He only recently amended those forms to disclose that his wife has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from anti-healthcare reform organizations, as well as Pro-Citizens United organizations, clear conflicts of interest for Thomas.

tip of the iceberg on the "Weinergate" set up can be found here The Dark Past Of The "Weinergate" Co-Pilot | The Smoking Gun

a sample of info on Clarence Thomas ethical conflicts can be found here Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas Should Sit Out On Health Care Case, Democrats Say - ABC News

lots more on both of these issues can be found from sources ranging from Fox to Huffington to Ars Technica if you choose to google, and not rely on the spin from your source du jour...on "Weinergate" especially, the techies have reverse engineered the trail of hacks to Weiner's accts. (with screen captures), and identified many in a ring of amateur conservative bloggers/newsgroup members who were involved in this setup. To show how easy it is, some techies hacked the twitter acct. of, IIRC, the head of the GOP in, I think, one of the Great Lake states, and posted something embarrassing.

:o

1) I love how people give Thomas a hard time for having an activist wife. It would be like... I don't know... a sitting secretary of state having a husband running around soliciting hundreds of millions of dollars for his own causes. Thomas should recuse himself the day Hillary resigns.

2) It's also interesting to see a husband indicted for his wife's actions. We were reminded that the sins of one didn't impact the sins of another back when Barney Frank's live-in boyfriend was running a gay brothel. Now never mind it was out of Barney's house, but hey -- they're separate people, right?

3) And how dare Thomas have a working wife. Don't we all know women belong in the kitchen baking cookies and cleaning? Oh wait -- modern feminism only applies to liberal women. Let some man make a modestly sexist comment and they go nuts, unless you want to call Sarah Palin a c*nt -- then NOW will practically do a press release supporting the statement.

4) And there is a justice who should recuse themselves, but it isn't Thomas -- It's Elena Kagan. The actively worked on passing ObamaCare, which should explicitly (as opposed to indirectly) force her to recuse herself. If you want to see what a real judicial prejudice looks like, you don't have to look any further than her.

Good times!

Maybe you didn't notice that the headline on the ABC News site that was linked above includes both Thomas' and Kagan's names...???

I did notice that. And I noticed how subtly they equated a spouse with a conflict of interest with a direct conflict of interest. It's posturing, pure and simple.

And linking Weiner's mess to this controversy is laughable. This debate is around a year old. And who the he'll doesn't know if the crotch shot was his??? That's frigging ridiculous.

Meh, I think sad as opposed to funny. As far as politicians go, it would suck to lose someone like him over something as dumb as this.

I'd love to see him go. All he does is rants about liberal causes regardless of the facts.

We've given him and his ilk a few trillion dollars and they've destroyed a million private sector jobs (and saved 450,000 government jobs... which is worse). It's time for them to go regardless.

lol

He just admitted it was him.

So let's get this straight. He lied to the media for over a week straight. Even blamed it on a right-wing conspiracy.

So will he resign? He just said he wouldn't. That's one of the decent things about Republicans -- at least they take their trash out.

We should mount a grass roots campaign to flood his facebook, twitter and website email with pictures of men's junk until he resigns.

I shall call it the "Wiener's for Wiener" campaign.

Wow, he admitted it. I am very surprised he would throw his whole career away for such a stupid thing.

Usually they cling to denial for much longer.

I'm sure Andrew Brightbart holding a press conference 10 minutes before Wiener's press conference confirming that he has an additional picture (that was very explicit and obscene) didn't have anything to do with it...

He was busted red-handed.

Vitter, Wiener and Wrangle should party together! Imagine the hookers, sexting and shakedown opportunities.

Republicans resign. Democrats shamelessly continue to blather on.

They need to just go away.

It's true that the Republicans are better at damage control. After all, they've had more experience with it...

Lmao! You know damm well we could go perv for perv on both sides of the aisle. Don't embarass yourself by claiming the moral high ground for liberals. puhlease!!

It's about 50/50. But it's funny to watch libtards scramble trying to justify their scumbag politicians who refuse to do the right thing and step down.

Even you know the right thing to do here is flush this turd. But I seriously doubt it will happen.

Good times!

What Weiner did wasnt too horrible - it was lying about it (while understandable at first) that fucked him.

Really no difference between the two parties. The only difference is that if it was a Republican he would have sent the cock photos to another guy.

At the same time, the Dems spent 3 decades idolizing a man who drove a woman into a lake and left her there to die.

This just really bums me out. What a waste.

I'd like to occasionally agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

We cant all get all of our knowledge from the daily Heritage Foundation email we receive every morning.

It's kind of refreshing we dont agree on much.

It's kind of refreshing we dont agree on much.

Nor can we stay fixated on MSNBC.

You and I have virtually diametric ideologies. The problem with your view is eventually you run out of other people's money (Thatcher). Regardless of the venue (US, Ireland, Portugal, Greece, UK), eventually the piper has to be paid.

The peace, love and hope model that involves transferring vast amounts of money from one group to another ignores a huge swing factor -- personal initiative. People don't work as hard and as effectively when they are paying someone else's bills. That loss of productivity not only doesn't help the downtrodden -- it also eventually bankrupts the wealth generators that could sign their paychecks.

lol @ painting me as a socialist. And lol @ msnbc or any other cable news network.

I remember 4-5 years ago I was probably considered one of the most conservative members here in chat. It's amazing how much the goal post has moved to the right since then.

Why do you even bother posturing as a moderate? I've wondered that about you for some time now. I'd say you, Lestat and Mr. Db agree on at least 75% of the issues, yet you'd deny being a liberal to the end.

Why not just admit to it an move forward?

lol.

Like I said, goalpost waaaayyyyyyyyyyy to the right.

lol.

Like I said, goalpost waaaayyyyyyyyyyy to the right.

Then provide contradictory evidence. Name three conservative positions and three conservative politicians/pundits you like.

When you are cornered, you fall back on an "lol" and repeat yourself. It's not fooling anyone.

I dont necessarily "fall back" on lol. Your posts honestly just crack me up that much. Speaking of which, lol @ "fooling anyone." I doubt the members of C&C are studying my posts in an attempt to get a clear handle on my political positions.

And lol @ you making an accusation - of sorts - and then asking me to prove it wrong. Shouldnt it work the other way around? Why dont you list three "socialist" positions I believe in since I'm responding to your query.

Conservative positions? You tell me if the below are still considered "conservative" today. I cant really keep up with the whole goalpost moving thing:

1) I support a lower tax rate/closed loophole plan, much like the one that was included in the recent Ryan budget (which essentially was just the Bowles/Simpson tax plan). That works for me.

2) The recent drug tests for welfare recipients proposal in Florida. Should be expanded nationwide. I dont think the recipients should have to pay for the test out of pocket, though. The amount of money saved by denying benefits will be more than enough to pay for the costs of the tests.

3) I've said from the start that quantitative easing is bullshit, the stimulus was bunk, and both cause more harm them good.

1) I support a lower tax rate/closed loophole plan, much like the one that was included in the recent Ryan budget (which essentially was just the Bowles/Simpson tax plan). That works for me.

That can be a conservative or liberal issue. Once all the dust settles, would it result in less or more taxpayer money flowing into the government? Being a proud conservative, I'd support the plan if it resulted in less money being available for the government to waste. There are legitimate versions of tax reform and others that are just a thinly veiled way of increasing taxes overall.

2) The recent drug tests for welfare recipients proposal in Florida. Should be expanded nationwide. I dont think the recipients should have to pay for the test out of pocket, though. The amount of money saved by denying benefits will be more than enough to pay for the costs of the tests.

Arguably a conservative issue, but liberals jump on board because they realize it's virtually impossible to oppose. With the economy in the state it's in, who would ever support giving taxpayer money for people to buy/use drugs?

3) I've said from the start that quantitative easing is bullshit, the stimulus was bunk, and both cause more harm them good.

Opposing the stimulus is clearly a conservative position. QE isn't really a conservative versus liberal issue; It's more of an issue among those who truly understand it's simply printing (electronically) more money so we can spend more.

Where are all the socialist issues I'm trying to ram down peoples throats?

For a pinko liberal that I apparently am in spades, I should ask you to come up with a list of 10.

Why dont you list three "socialist" positions I believe in since I'm responding to your query.

Here's one obvious socialist issue. You support the nationalization of health insurance.

And supporting Wiener is clearly a liberal position. You'd be hard pressed to find a single conservative who is a "big fan" of him.

Oh... and how did you feel about the extension of the Bush tax cuts for the upper income brackets? I'm sure you were all for that, correct? And should we extend them after 2012?

So you dont have a list? Not really surprising. Being a borderline communist, I figured that you would be able to come up with more than 1 "leftist" position I support. I would repeat that I support health care reform mainly due to economic reasons, but there's no point getting into that again.

And back to the whole "missing the point" photo on the other page; it's not that I support Weiner's positions (or his weiners position), but I would think that anybody would respect a politician who sticks to his guns and doesnt automatically fall in line with his respective party's talking points of the day. The guy had no trouble going after Obama before it was fashionable to do so, and has been one of his most vocal critics since he was elected. Do I agree with all of his positions? Hells no, but the way he did things was a breath of fresh air.

I respect him as a politician for the same reasons I respect Ron Paul as a politician. I dont necessarily agree with all of Paul's positions, but the man gives a shit about "falling in line."

I notice you didn't say the same thing to the Republican't also claiming moral high ground...

Plunkey was making a point about the aftermath of these debacles and he was right. Conservatives usually deal more swiftly with these things. Lower tolerance for stupidity. Hmmmm?!?!?

We're developing our list together.

1) You are for nationalization of health care insurance.

2) Opposing Bush tax cuts for upper brackets.

I'm sure there's more to come ...

This is fun. It's like debating pick3 on how many dudes have to nail him in the butt before it makes him geigh.

Oh... and how did you feel about the extension of the Bush tax cuts for the upper income brackets? I'm sure you were all for that, correct? And should we extend them after 2012?

No, that was a horrible idea.

For someone who probably fancies them self as a "deficit hawk" Im surprised you dont agree.

But since I know you, I'm not surprised at all really.

We're developing our list together.

Seems like you should have had this list prepared already, no?

After all, you were the first to notice how I've been trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the C&C board for almost a decade now. All those articles I posted from Ann Coulter or Ron Paul back in the day was all part of my ruse.

The jig is up on my end. :(

What about alternative energy? Should we subsidize it in any way or should we let the chips fall where they may? Should we stick to fossil fuels for as long as absolutely feasible?

We're at two dicks and counting. What's your view on alternative energy?

I'll respond re: alternative energy when you riddle me this:

What makes, to use your words, sticking with "fossil fuels for as long as absolutely feasible" a conservative vs liberal issue?

This probably goes back to my not receiving daily talking points and ignoring 99% of all political pundits out there, but shouldnt this be looked at from an economic standpoint?

Enlighten me, por favor.

It means letting the free market absolutely decide on which fuels succeed and fail. It means no taxes or subsidies on any fuel, including existing tax benefits for oil and gas exploration. No solar subsidies. No ethanol subsidies. No wind subsidies. No nuclear subsidies (but massive nuclear deregulation). It also means no fossil fuels taxes, no CO2 taxes and no regulation of greenhouse gases under EPA loopholes.

And building the list this way is tons more fun, just FYI.

And what about Iraq/Afghanistan? Without the benefit of hindsight (which proved both wars to be far too costly in terms of lives and cash), was it a reasonable decision at the time?

I agree with all of that. But isnt it a pinko liberal policy to get rid of tax cuts (which arent technically considered subsidies in some circles) to oil companies?

Seems like EF has exposed another RINO! Welcome to the club, plunk. I'll send you an Obama/Biden '12 shirt (I have boxes of them here, obviously) that you can wear proudly now.

And building the list this way is tons more fun, just FYI.

It is. Each question of yours just proves that, once again, you swung for the fences and missed. :)

And let's vet this stimulus issue a little more. Was spending the money itself a terrible idea, or was it simply the things the money was spent on the problem?

Oh and bailouts... Banks... Fannie... Freddie... GM/Chrysler. Good idea or necessary evil?

And what about Iraq/Afghanistan? Without the benefit of hindsight (which proved both wars to be far too costly in terms of lives and cash), was it a reasonable decision at the time?

Afghanistan yes. Iraq no.

And thats without hindsight. I also hope we can both agree on that.

Then again, I'm more of a "if youre going to war, go to war" type of guy. I wouldnt lose a moment of sleep if we carpet bombed Afghanistan back to the stone age. Then again, I'm kind of an asshole. But hey, it would be cheaper (I think) and we would have dramatically less military causalities to deal with.

Oh and bailouts... Banks... Fannie... Freddie... GM/Chrysler. Good idea or necessary evil?

Horrible. I wrote a long post on here a while back about how the GM bailout would, in an ideal world, lead to some type of criminal inquiry against the Obama admin.

Do your research, plunk. I'm busy here.

And let's vet this stimulus issue a little more. Was spending the money itself a terrible idea, or was it simply the things the money was spent on the problem?

Again, do your homework.

Japan proved more than once that all stimulus spending does is create more debt and delay a much needed correction.

But again, I dont look at this as a liberal vs conservative issue.

And social conservative issues... abortion yay or nay? religion in daily life?

So wind-down Fannie and Freddie? Back to a privatized mortgage market? Should we have let the banks and insurance companies that bought toxic assets go down?

What about the Fed? Good or bad thing?

Holy grasping at straws, Batman!

Why dont we do this in the interest of making things easier and wrapping up this faux-inquisition. Lets choose one of a few options:

1) Since it appears were moving on to social/religious issues, first explain to me what the fuck that has to do with your original assertion that I was a proponent of mass distribution of wealth. Last I checked, me not giving a shit about prayer in public school or wanting to keep "Christmas" as "Christmas" had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with your accusation that I am a socialist masquerading as a moderate who is looking to destroy the free market system and steal from the rich in order to give to the poor. Further proof that 95% of those who use the term "socialist" arent familiar with the definition.

Once you explain that, why dont you just compile all your questions into one single post? We dont need to use another 20 posts to go back and forth. That way I can respond to them all at once.

2) You can simply say "Hey 75th, it seems that while you and I may disagree on one or two economic issues, we seem to see eye-to-eye on the vast majority of others. I just googled the definition of a "political moderate" and it seems like you fit the criteria. I know it's not some club you were looking to join so you may not give a shit, but at least I know that going forward if you were to challenge me on an issue or two, I wouldnt be able to scream the word "SOCIALIST!" in an attempt to avoid intelligent discourse. I've taken about 9 shots in the dark so far and 8 of them have come back to blow up in my face (no homo) and have actually disproved my original thesis on my own."

Your call. Dont be afraid of option 2 - believe it or not it wouldnt be the first time you were wrong. Bonus points come along with that in the form of you not embarrassing yourself any further.

Option 1 is fine too, but again just compile all your questions into one post and give me until later tonight to reply to all of them. Im going to be busy campaigning for the return of ACORN all afternoon.

We're far from just doing social/religious issues. I'll ask you a question and you'll answer 1/3 of it. Should the banks have been bailed out? Wind-down Freddie and Fannie? Eliminate the Fed?

Seems like were not far from them, right?

Should the banks have been bailed out? No.
Wind-down F&F? Yes. But we would need a private mechanism to replace them.
Eliminate the Fed? Unsure. Reduce their power/capacity? Yes.

So, are we going with option 1 or option 2?

I'm encouraged by your answers, truth be told. We've just got to get that retarded view of nationalized HC insurance and higher taxes out of your head.

So were going with option 2 then. Wasnt too hard, was it?

So were going with option 2 then. Wasnt too hard, was it?

We're clearly not going with option two. You've still got that streak of libtard we'll have to deal with.

In pick3 terms, I think you like girls. But I think we'd both agree that you experiment at Cutter's at least a few times a month too.

They need to drag this train wreck out all the way through 2012.
