Never happen. Canadian laws are so strict concerning
any a.s. that if a physician writes a script. for
any questionable substance, he gets questioned by a
board of superiors wanting to know what it was about.
Believe it or not, some provinces have made it illegal
to get vit. b12 while other provinces you can buy it
otc at any pharmacy. I always get mine that way and
bring it back. I told my doc. about that and asked if
he just write me a script. to save me the trip but
he told me he would get questioned about even writing
a script such as that.
I can think of one exception. A friend of mine who is
a real heavy juicer went in and got a script for HCG
but I guess the doc just looked at him (300 lbs. and
cut) with nuts the size of raisins and gave him the
script. Believe me, they'll check you out well and you
will have to really need it before they'll write it.
