The first one replied as what we would all expect from these doctors, which was no, this would meen that I condoned the use of steroids, do you know all the side effects associated with steroid use(blah, blah,blah, blah) same old shit for the next 10 minutes. Bottom line? He wouldn't do it. However, the second one said that he would not prescribe them for me, but gave me some different reasons. He was very cool about it, and did not give me any greif about it, since I had already explained to him that I have done my homework, and probably know as much, or more about steroids than most of his colegues, to which he agreed. He said that he personally has friends that use steroids as well. His reasoning for not prescribing was that our healthcare system has enough things to deal with for all of the sick and elderly people, that we should not be spending the taxpayers money on something that is cosmetic. They get paid every time we visit their office(at least by BC medical they do). I don't know how it works in other province's, but I am assuming it is the same, so this is why he would not prescribe it for me. He did say that it is not illegal for him to prescribe it for me, He just does not want to do it for the above mentioned reasons. You may be able to find someone who does not mind prescribing them for you, but it is a crapshoot. : : Good luck, : : Crankman
