AJ-
I've been getting a lot of customers into the store I work at carrying the new book THE ARTHRITIS CURE. I haven't read the book so I can't comment on it but the author suggests that the two products together will be better than just one or the other. If I'm not mistaken, GS is an amino sugar while CSA is a purified extract from bovine trachea. The original CSA product was introduced by Twinlab in 250 mg capsules and they suggest one a day. Now there's this guy who's suggesting in his book to take 1600 mgs a day (!). Personally I've seen good results from one 250 mg CSA and one 750 mg GS capsules twice a day. That, by itself, is expensive enough so that's what I'm using whenever I feel some tendon problems coming on. Also, I have found that bromelain, a digestive enzyme, when taken away from food, is a very good natural anti-inflammatory. I've also been using a lot of Vitamin C with bioflavinoids as I believe they will help with inflammation. Other good possibilities are the ayurvedic herb Boswellia and the spice Tumeric (active ingredient is Curcumin). If you're sick of popping lots of Advils maybe try some of this stuff! My two cents...
