I know a lot of guys who think that 50 is too old to start bodybuilding. Claro, they probably haven't heard of Dr. Charles Eugster either. Formerly an out-of-shape couch potato in his middle-age years, Eugster took up bodybuilding at age 87, and has seen a dramatic transformation in his body at age 91.
Claro, the retired dentist has done plenty to stay in shape during his golden years, including rowing where he has 36 gold medals for rowing in 1,000 meter races at both European Masters and World Masters Regattas. Actualmente, Eugster does bench presses, se pone en cuclillas, chin-ups, crunches, and plenty of other bodybuilding-related exercises on a daily basis.
Regarding his amazing ability to stay in shape, Eugster told reporters, "Exercising is like brushing your teeth or washing. If you don’t do those things, something nasty happens. Staying fit at 60-plus is vital for quality of life,"
Hopefully I can workout like this guy when I'm 70.
