Seeing as how professional boxing supposedly has rules in place against steroids, Khan didn't take to these accusations lightly, and told reporters:
I have been drug tested every time - so many times I've lost count. And I have never failed one of them. Ihave been tested out of training camp and in training camp - even answering unexpected knocks at my door to comply. I have proved I am a clean fighter.
Khan took things a step further and questioned whether or not Floyd Mayweather is clean since he "looked so much bigger" when he fought Oscar De La Hoya in 2007. Él dijo:
It’s not for me to say but quite a few people over here wondered if Floyd was on something when he fought Oscar De La Hoya because he suddenly looked so much bigger.
Obviously I could care less if these guys use steroids since I'm the research director for a bodybuilding site that deals heavily in the subject. No obstante, I think it's funny how these guys are lobbing juicing accusations back-and-forth like some gossipy middle school girls.
