I had a buddy tell me recently that the only supplements that I actually need are a good multi-vitamin and protein. I have been using stuff like creatine and L-glutamine, but he says that those are pretty much a waste of cash. Do you guys see any benefit to some of these other supplements?

Much dpends on how good your diet is and whether or not you are natural or on a cycle. If you eat (plenty of good food) you really don`t need any protein supps if your natural. But regardless of how much or good you eat, taking a creatine supp and a good multi vit/min is both cost effective and worth the money IMHO. The L-Glutamine to me is a waste of cash. A good solid diet will afford you all the glutamine you need.
