Suede paint from Ralph Lauren?
It looks pretty good if it's put on right.

If you mean real suede do you mean ultra-suede (it's washable and since you're dating again you might need that).

I'm a big fan of suede anything and OH GOD leather floors.
Mmm.

Now I'm hungry.

Leather floors. :chomp:

Just did a guys night at Mr. Inheritedinternationalretailchainman's house on thursday: Shell cordovan tiles. OH. MY. GOD. Possibly the most beatiful room I have ever seen in my life. I want one.

I have the suade paint in my bedroom in a medium green- its HOT. I did it myself (have done set design before) but it was easy (at least for me). I use the ralph lauren river rock paint a lot- it hides imperfections and gives a rich look without much texture- dark olive green in my hall and i used to have a pale beige in the living room

Set design - that's SO COOL!
My girlfriend had put green in her son's room - it might be the same color.
I had used the rock paint two apt. ago - it was very earthy (the only draw back I can see is restoring the wall to being flat).

Sounds like you have a nice command of color too.

thank you!
yeah.. the texture, although slight... is still texture. I'm thinking of repainting my bedroom that has the suede paint, but i think i might have to go with one of the riverrock colors just to hide the brushtexture. luckily, the room is 17' x 30', so i can go dark without a second thought. i'm thinking a reddish brown or the same olive green that i've already used in the hall.

any update pics or ideas V?

I moved some furniture around in the living room and removed a few pieces to open it up a bit. Their friends have all commented positively (YAY!) we just don't argee as to what to do with one area of the living room. Ah well.

I have two of the guest bedroom on the lower level picked out - just one needs a new wallpaper selection. I could take photos of the products if you or anyone else was curious.

The rooms and the foyer and hall off those rooms won't be taken apart until the end of Sept for new wallwaper and paint, etc. The removal of the existing wall covering is going to be hell and was quoted to be a 3 week job. This project is going to be a long one but I'm not complaining.

Now you've got me wanting to use the suede paint in my bathroom.
(just can't leave good enough alone)

DO you have pics? I'd love to the rooms.

i only have one pic of me that has the wallcolor in the background, but you can't easily see the texture. i'll pm you the link to it.
I recently redecorated a bathroom and thought about using the same paint because it hides EVERY imperfection- but i was afraid to use it in a bathroom- its very flat and porous and the ceiling height in mine is HIGH- i was afraid it would look dusty, but the colors are all SO rich looking.

Wow.... ugly as hell, but probably expensive as hell too.
Italians &/or greeks own that?

Please make it ultra-modern.
