Your biggest achievement in training?

Garza

I guess mine would be going from a 100 lb squat to 260 (roughly). I remember being so weak when I was a freshmen, it was horrible. Now I feel way better about myself.

80lb increase in my bench in roughly a year......

Returning to the gym to do back squats after seeing my MRI with 3 lower disc herniations and a fractured verterbrae from a car accident where I was rear-ended...stupid biaaaaatttttcccccchhhhh !!!!!....

Oh my gosh, sorry to hear about that Fitnessfrk. Damn....would hate to be injured do to someone elses neglegance. Makes me scared to drive on the highway.

bench increase from 170 - 220 w/ 8 reps; running daily while teaching aerobics/fitness classes daily; pumping out over 100 push-ups for as a 1 set warm-up; doing tricep pushdowns @ 260lbs; doing the full rack on the leg extension; eating over 3000 calories and loving it........ most importantly, doing all this within 2 months, never EVER taken any roids or other supplements and I'm a GIRL:D

I can open a jar of peanut butter, often unassisted.

my hero!

hehe

i'd have to say my biggest achievement is finally breaking the 40lb weight in all my db exercises... (i guess i'd have to leave bi and tri exercises out of that, but i can do 45's or 50's on just about everything else (back, shoulders, chest)...)

that and finally breaking the plate on squats... (now i'm up to 155 for reps and not looking back!)

i workout in a pretty sissy gym and I lift more than a lot of the guys....

i've also gainned 5 or 6 lbs on my cycle this month... whoo whoo... i love anavar...

I walked into the gym and stared in awe at the "big guys" dumb bell pressing the 100 lb. db's. That was my goal. Around three Friday's ago, I did eight clean reps with a hundred lb. db in each hand. Talk about a rush! 120 lb. are next.

Losing approx 30 Lbs of fat and putting on 15 lbs of Lean this year....
No Gear and I'm not real strict with my diet...

lol @ welsh ph:p fitness frk.. i had something similar.. cracked a vertebrae in lower back a few years back. after full recovery went from 175 fat ass (5'7') to 180 lean w/i a year. following year shot up to 200 and shreaded up to a lean, mean, muscle bound bod of 170 lbs.

Somehow I think my greatest achievment was simply bringing up my traps.. I dont know why but I since I have always had extremely wide shoulders my traps were always lagging no matter what. Finally I continually hit them hard and heavy with perfect form and they exploded! Thank the Lord for dumbbell shrugs and deadlifts!!
:D:D

i remember a short time ago when i was benching 50lbs for 3 reps ,now im up to about 150 on bb im proud of it because i was always a skinny white boy,now its not as bad but

wow I actually have a few I am proud of.

1. going from 135# to 210 which I am at now naturally since college.

2. Benching 435 for 2 for the first time on my 30th bday on the 31st of last month

3. having a 29 inch waist on my 30th bday and I am a guy.

4. the thing I am most proud of though is leg pressing 1200 for a clean set of 8 with a full range of motion last week after being told by the doctors two years ago that my right knee was so damaged and deteriorating I would have to wear a brace to walk for the rest of my life and refusing to have the ligament repaired telling them I would just strengthen the muscles enough to hold the joint in place. They told me it couldnt be done. I dont wear a brace just use wraps when I go heavy on legs, and I am considering entering an all natural competition due to my leg training going so well.

Abbaddon, Those r some great achievments for 30y/o.
Like you I am 30 and hitting 400 was something I thought I could never achieve naturally.

being able to squat again since my back/hip use to pop out. Been 2yrs now since my summer of back therapy and my frequent visits to the ER and doctors.

added 50 pounds to my 12 rep set on flat bench....
added about 70 pounds to my x3 rep set.

In roughly 5 months.

I have very strong legs and i've decided to put them to use, once my gym reopens on Sept. 4th, i am squatting my ass off.

Being alive after a teen-age sickness. I was told that I would never compete in Martial Arts again and would always be skinny...IF I LIVED.

I did live, and won first in forms, weapons, fighting, and overall grandchampion at my first tourney when I came back. I've also went from 152lbs at age 16 to over 300lbs at age 23. About to have a birthday at a leaner 285.
